Ruth chris steak house is one of my favorite places to eat first time in Cincinnati but alot in indy. My steak was little over cooked on the bottom where it had sit on plate too long. Everytime I have ate at ruth chris in indy you can hear somebody across the room getting there steak from the sizzle of the butter and hot plate I heard none of that at Cincinnati. Will give them another shot sometime in future.

I made reservations 2 months in advance for my daughter's Sweet 16 birthday (Feb 22). I was in contact with management 3 times prior to our reservation. The assistant manager Dave, ensured our party would sit together. The resturant was overbooked for the evening. Dave tried to place 17 chairs at a table that left zero room for anyone to actually sit, some didn't even have a table in front of them. Not to mention our reservation was at 7: 30. We sat ourselves at 9 because they never got our party sat. We had no linen or place settings and when questioned Dave said "I'm just trying to accommodate you people". Silverware was brought by the hostess and tossed in the middle of the table. I had her remove it and bring us silverware wrapped in linen. Table settings were never brought. This was such a horrible experience. When I requested more space just so guests could eat their food, Dave said " your reservations were for 17 and you have 24 people, that isn't on me". I told him our group is of 17, he said "no I'll go count". As I walked behind him as he did a head count, I noticed he was counting another party that happened to be African Americans. I told him I know you think we all look alike but they are not with us. He was very rude and racist. He truly needs another position. I will be contacting his supervisor as well as corporate behind his actions lastnight. My daughter is autistic and I just wanted her night to flow. This did not happen. Our food finally came out after 10. We missed all other reservations for the evening due to this. I was truly disappointed in the mishandling of the night supervisor. It was our first and last time dining at this facility.

It was not a fun experience. When we arrived for our reservation we were told "the house was 30 min behind and we would be seated in around 30-40 min". When we got seated upstairs the room was so loud I couldn't hear the waitress. Food was ok, steaks were great but the signature appetizer Ravioli was warm. I've been here before and everything was amazing, but tonight was not worth it. Hopefully just a bad night. Not sure when I'll be back or if I'll be back.

Food was decent (edible), but not as good as it should have been for the price. For example some of the dishes were lukewarm instead of hot. The night assistant manager needs to go! I was with a group who's reservation was made months ago, but because of overbooking they tried to scrunch 17 chairs around the table with no space between the chairs. The manager said "I'm trying to accommodate you people. " I think this was a racist comment directed at the predominantly black group we were with. We also had to wait an hour and a half after our reservation time to be seated. To top it off those of us who ordered dessert were given the dessert in a plastic to go bag. I said I didn't want mine to go, but they gave it to me that way anyway. This was meant to be a special birthday dinner for a special needs child, but it sure didn't work out that way.

My husband and I ate at Ruth's Chris yesterday and was not please with the food or experience. To begin we ordered potato leek and french onion soup, both were very tasty. For entrees we ordered ribeye steak, scallops, brussel sprouts, and fingerling potatoes. The ribeye was pretty good but nothing spectacular. The scallops had a good flavor but were a tad rubbery, this was very disappointing. The brussel sprouts were lacking flavor and could have been roasted a tad longer. Last and least, the fingerling potatoes were dry and lacking of flavor. By this time our waters were almost completely gone and not one fill up had been done. We ordered dessert, which was delicious. I ordered coffee and creme brulee and my husband ordered the pound cake. We still had not received a refill on waters and I ran out of coffee and water halfway through dessert. Going to Ruth's Chris we were expecting fabulous service and extraordinary food and were very disappointed.

Very elegant and accessible restaurant. They provide large portions and for reasonable rates. I enjoyed the menu very much and the staff were super amiable and chatty. Recommended.

My husband & I were first time visitors and we were very impressed! We were seated almost immediately after arriving, with a reservation ofcourse. Our server Lance had a female trainee who was absolutely excellent. I had no idea she was in training, she was that good, Lance was great as well. My husband and
I started with some appetizers, "spicy shrimp" and "crab cakes", very tasty. We then had some salad, then the main entrees, he had the famous "Tomahawk" which didn't disappoint and I ordered the "16 oz. Ribeye", the steaks were cooked to perfection, to our likeness at medium We also had some lobster mac n cheese. Every course was timed just right, the food was excellent! We were too stuffed to order dessert but because it was our 6th year wedding anniversary they gifted us a dessert, very nice touch. We chose the cheesecake, they even put a special touch on it, by writing "Happy 6th Anniversary" on the plate. We took our dessert home but made sure we took a picture. The staff was more than accommodating, they even volunteered to take our pictures of our special celebration. The bill was almost $300 plus $40 tip, which I gasped when I saw the bill, but hey, you only live once. We enjoyed every moment of our experience at Ruth Chris. We've heard about this restaurant for years but we don't have one in our area. A weekend getaway for our 6th Wedding Anniversary, the restaurant happened to be in the area, perfect! The food was superb, we had plenty of leftovers, plus a free dessert! We would absolutely do it again and recommend this restaurant to all. If you're on a budget, save up, it's sooo worth it! Excellent job Ruth Chris, love you guys!

This place was hit or miss. Took my girlfriend there last night. Service was sub par. Steaks were ok. French Onion soup was horrible. Potato Augratin was under cooked. Not what I would expect for a $200 check. Not my money next time.

Good place to catch up with friends. There was quick, helpful, and friendly service. The bill was fair I would say.

One of the best steaks I've ever had. Wish it was in the burbs so I wouldn't have to deal with downtown Cincinnati traffic.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary here and loved every minute of it. It exceeded our expectations with both food and service. The manager was wonderful as well! Our servers made excellent recommendations! Don't skip the drinks or the dessert. Best time we have had out even on a busy holiday weekend. Great atmosphere!

I've dined here multiple times for work events and leisure, always a pleasant experience. We went for Reds Opening Day and it was the best decision we've ever made. Ready to make it a tradition.

The rib eye melted in my mouth. The sweet potato casserole was the best thing I've eaten & the brussel sprouts were to die for.

The food is amazing! High quality top notch steaks. They also don't sear their steaks so you don't have any of that burnt flavor like you do at other places. The sides are also delicious. The sweet potatoes are my favorite. I don't know why, but the drink service always seems to be so slow at these places. Highly recommended for a special occasion.

Fantastic place. Service was great and even met a few local celebrities. The food was one of the best steaks in town.
