This place isn’t a bad place to live tbh everyone in the office is great i just have 1 thing to say. I come home from work around 6: 30 and I get a noise complaint letter in my door saying my dogs are to loud and have been barking.they’re just puppies what am I supposed to do while I’m at work? Get rid of them? Cause that’s not happening I can’t leave work every hour to come home just so they can stop barking they just want attention from their parents that’s all let them be puppies

I’ve lived here for about 3 years now and as far as the apartment itself goes I love it! It’s very beautiful, nice appliances, and spacious. The staff has always been friendly and quickly responsive if I’ve ever needed anything. Maintenance also responds rather quickly. The only con is the area isn’t the safest or most secure. I’ve accidentally left my car unlocked a couple times and I’ve come out to my car the next morning finding everything in my car tossed all around like someone had searched through my car. Thankfully I didn’t have anything of value in my car to be stolen, but they unfortunately don’t have security cameras in the parking lot. On the other hand, the pool is open for about 6 months of the year as well, which is nice!

I have been a resident at ryland park for a few months now and so far it has been great. The apartments are clean and modern. Its nice to see that the employees actually care for their tenants, calling and asking if everything is good and if anything is needed. People at the front desk are always very nice always willing to talk and help out. They often play games where a participating tenant wins gift cards. And its not that hard to win. They made sure to notify me ahead of time when maintenance was changing an air filter which was very appreciated.
The location is very convenient which is located next to the high way and is a 15 minute drive to the OSU campus. Grocers stores, BMV, pet store, restaurants, gas stations, coffee shops are right across the street. Overall my experience here at ryland park is great, I would recommend living here.

Ryland Park is my favorite community I’ve ever lived in. The office staff is great, the maintenance team is always on top of their stuff. The resident events are phenomenal and they care about what’s going on inside the community. Every year they decorate for Christmas and it always looks amazing inside and outside. Everyone I’ve encountered here has been friendly and positive.

I am only giving 2 stars because Stormie and Brittnie are really wonderful people and are super helpful. In no way is any of this their fault, but it’s definitely worth noting for anyone who is apartment searching.

Essentially, you are paying an overpriced amount for:

1) A 50/50 chance that your packages get stolen if they are to be delivered to your door (happened to me now 3 times)

2) Homeless people sleeping right outside your door (happened now twice). For the price point, it’s unacceptable.

3) A pool

4) Spending at-least 10-15 minutes just trying to get out of the complex

5) Granite Countertops

6) A 50/50 chance the mail person puts your mail in the wrong mailbox, and if it’s a package, 75% chance it gets stolen

7) Hot water only for maybe an hour out of the entire day

8) Toilets having to flush twice in order for it to go down

9) Hearing absolutely everything that your neighbors do/say/any movement that they make

10) Nobody picking up after their dogs

11) The layout of the apartment is nice

12) No security

13) no snow removal of any sort

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with living here. From moving in with the help of Kristine and Stormie being there to answer any questions for us. They have been such big helps. And the apartment itself is beautiful.

The apartments look nice and are quiet. Had problems with packages being dropped off at the office instead of my door which was annoying. Great elementary school, and extremely walkable.

My problem is 2 months after moving out the electric (they put it in your name, you dont set up your own) is still in my name, and the overdue bill is being threatened to go to collections. But I paid everything I owed, and this bill is from after move out. No matter what I send to the electric company they will not remove my name until the apartments tell them to. They have sent the paperwork over 4 times, but havent heard back from ryland park.

Move out deductions were very fair and honest, which was a nice change from my last apartments. I would rent from them again but would make sure that paper for the electric was filled out when I turned in keys.

I’ve lived here for about a year now. In my experience, apartments are usually hard to deal with. However that is NOT the case with Ryland Park. I’ve submitted work requests that got fixed same day. The facility is kept very clean and the managers are responsive. They even make sure you know that packages are waiting for you at the front office! I have yet to have a bad experience with the staff or apartment.

The staff at Ryland Park are amazing people! They have little grouo gatherings so they can get to know the residents, as well as all the residents get know know each other. There are really nice people that live here. I would definitely recommend living here!

Ryland park is a great place to stay here in Hilliard! Our apartment is very nice and the location is spot on for our commute to work or if we wanted to watch a movie spontaneously at the AMC theatre across the street. The people that live here are very friendly and the maintenance/office will not let me and my girlfriend go without they’re very quick to fix any mishaps and make us comfortable in our beautiful apartment here at Ryland Park!

Just got approved to move in, looking forward to it. So far staff has been great, very approachable. New apartments and very nice. Also to those speaking about how unreasonable Ryland is about credit. Ill be honest mines not that great due to a chapter 13 and they were willing to work with my wife and I.

We will move out on September. They need to fire the lady who supposedly is the, “Manager”. People are moving out because of her. It was a horrible mistake to put her in that office as a manager.

I'm willing to update my review if stuff changes.
I'm a current resident of this complex, apartment is neat and nice, location is very strategic.
I had a couple of issues with the management, the very first one, happened in our third month here, when I was 2000 miles away from home for work, believing that my family were safe and comfortable under a warm roof, my wife called me almost crying, saying she received a letter from management giving us 2 days to empty the apartment with all kind of harrasements about legal actions etc.because we didn't pay our rent that was due 2-3 days before we received the letter. GUESS WHAT? The check had been sitting in their mailbox for at least 5 days! Nobody bothered to call us before harrassing us to ask about the payment, nobody bothered to call us after they found the check in their mail to apologise.
We kept 2 bikes on our own patio for few days, I received three emails about the complex policy that doesn't allow residents to keep bikes on patios, the last one was a final notice! RIGHT NOW there is a propane tank on a next door apartment's patio and a grill on another one. The propane tank is left on a patio that is in the third floor and facing South, which means the patio has no roof and it's exposed to direct sun all day long every sunny day! I called the management, she said the size of that tank is allowed!
One time, the leasing office received a package under my name, they sent me an email about it, it was one of those emails that get lost and forgotten, I did not see it until 5 weeks later, when I asked the management about it, they simply said they kept the package for four weeks and sent it back to sender! They never tried to contact me again by email or phone, my apartment door is literally 60-100 feet away from the leasing office. Until today I don't know who sent that package and what was in it and how important it was.
After living 19 months here, at our lease renewal time, I asked for some arrangements to allow us to stay couple more months and not a whole new year, because of a personal situation and an out of state moving plan in couple months, I offered to pay extra.the answer was NO. I have to find a place for two months only before we move out of state because of their inflexibility. I understand that they function by lease agreements, but in a case like mine and for extra $ I don't understand why they won't make extra money and allow me make my life easier.

Pros:

-Nice interiors

-Friendly office staff

- Maintenance responds very quickly

-Hilliard schools

Cons:

-Foundation settled within the first year. Lots of moisture and air coming in through front door.

-Low quality windows. Began growing mold after the first winter there. Outside noise very noticeable especially at night.

-Electric company is third party. Bills are outrageous.

-Little bang for your buck. Aside from the pool and grill that you can only use a few months out of the year, there aren't really any amenities

-Parking. First come and first serve. No passes issued so people with guests could take up the lot of they wanted to

-Location is 50/50. You're right on Hilliard-Rome by many restaurants and grocery stores. But the street corners are flooded with homeless people and this is next to a section-8 apartment community

-Move out costs. If they have to clean even the smallest bit of dust from the top of your fridge, they will charge you.

A very clean property, very close to everything you could need and only 10 minutes or so to downtown.
