Someone came to my home early in the morning and put an abandoned sticker on my window. These dudes are frauds. There is a boat in the driveway. And smoke coming out of the chimney. What is abandoned? Yall need to be sued and come get this sticker off my window!

This company is 100% a SCAM to put it nicely. Ran by obvious intellectually impaired thieves that attempt to get Real Respectable contractors to pay them more than $200 upfront for "guaranteed" jobs. PAY THEM UPFRONT (sounds legit right?) Then they send you to take Illegal possession of other working class Americans property, effectively 'doing their dirty work'. Just another B. S company working to destroy our country. Just the same as every other corporation.

Terrible outfit. Call them THREE WEEKS in advance if you need an inspection. They’re location is a geographical oddity, exactly two weeks from everywhere. Rocket Mortgage should do their homework before partnering with such a second rate company. Awful. See you guys in a couple weeks, even though called in inspection a week ago. Thumbs down.

My brother, Ken Morrow, posted a review about his issue approximately 2 months ago. Although he documented everything, he found out today that they would not honor his claim and didn't feel responsible. This is how we treat our veterans I guess. He did not ask for compensation but begged them to just have his possessions returned - jewelry left him by our father and his Desert Storm memorabilia. They know who they hired to go in the house yet they can't get his things back? !? ! Worse yet - they don't feel any remorse. It is a sad, sad world we live in today. Shame on Safeguard - hopefully your family members won't ever be treated this way.

This company is a scam. They are trespassing properties, claiming that the property is under their name. They place a sticker in our front door claiming that the house was vacant; we called to let them know the house was not vacant. They broke in to our property on 03/25/2023, they broke our lock change our locks for other locks. They winterized our house, without any permission. We opened a policy investigation. We will be taking legal actions, because this company should not be in business. They are robbing peoples houses claiming they are a mortgage company.
Updated review 03/27/2023. We purchased this house on January, is under our name, is not in foreclosure. The property was just renovated, it was clean, ready for our family to move in. Your company trespassed our property on 03/25/2023, you changed our locks. YOU ARE SCAMMING AND ROBBING PEOPLE.
Update 03/28/2023. This company try to broke in today as well. They claim our house is under a mortgage, which is not the house we bought it. We contacted them and they keep saying lies.

Had a home inspection scheduled where they provided the wrong Date/time and contact info for my inspector. Took the morning off to meet the inspector who told me the scheduling app is busted. Inspector couldn't even reach out to me via text to confirm appointment time with him knowing that the scheduling app is broken

Not sure how this company is able to do any business in NY or any other State. This company is paid to maintain and secure properties. They hire hardworking subcontractors that report the work needed to be completed, and in turn sadegaurd forbids them to complete the work in accordance to standards. Instead Safeguard instructs them to paint over mold, place plastic tarps on leaky roofs, leave trash and debris, do as least amount of maintence as possible, very rude to anyone that phones to inquire or alert about property issues. Safe Guard disregaurds all State Laws reguarding Maintaining Bank Owned and Abandoned properties, They instruct their Sub Contractors to do the same.
They pay their Sub Contractors a small fraction for work completed "IF" they are paid at all. They get away with not paying Sub Contractors with loop holes they create they will not pay or reimburse for any work performed or any cost for materials.
Safe Guard should be investigated and stopped in their unlawful and inhuman practices.

Just off the reviews.but I get a text asking do I want work. Then they emailed me saying I have to pay $250 just to start work and make money. Something don't seem right, so I'm cool on that

Very pleasant experience dealing with Mr. Joey Haug who is the Director–Safeguard Service Center. Joey was persistent and did not relent until my issue was resolved and he had the company issue me a check to compensate me for the issue. Joey was always pleasant, professional and determined to resolve my issue and satisfy my concerns. I highly recommend this company.

My mortgage company hired Safeguard winterize my property because it was vacant while on the market for sale. Safeguard subbed the job out to a company that did a subpar job. Once the home was dewinterized by a professional plumber, it was discovered that a pipe had burst. It cost me around $2k to repair the pipes and repatch the drywall. I submitted all documentation for repairs with photos (including a photo of the obviously burst pipe) and the only response I received from the company was a "thanks for submitting your info but the company we hired SAID they did there job and you had other people in the house after winterization so we won't be paying anything" And when I pressed that they provide proof of work completed by their third party contractor, they refused. Absolutely ridiculous. CROOKS.

I really enjoy working at Safeguard Properties! The people are friendly, the work is challenging but rewarding, and good effort does not go unnoticed by management.

They broke into my house, winterized and went through all my belongings. Changed locks and put lock box on it. When I called them they gave me the code to get in. When I went in they had taken my tv and all my jewelry, some tools. Went through all my drawers and my personal information. I did file a police report and awaiting to go to court. I was never informed they were going to do this. How can they get away with this? They were told the house was abandoned by my mortgage company. When I called them they denied that they told safeguard to change the locks. I will not stop until the persons responsible are held accountable. I am a US Army Veteran and I didn’t have much of value. What I did have were my fathers and grandfathers and now they are gone. I served in the Gulf War and they even took my medals. What is this world coming to?

I've been employed by safeguard for many years at this point and what i enjoy most is the flexibility, specifically PTO and working from home. Also, working with some great people that have become friends.

Broke out a window, tore up my door frame and door, tore up my garage door and my garage door and frame plus took out a picture and toilet out of my home company deserves 0 stars

Love the people I work with and they give generous amount of PTO, plus ability to work from home makes it convenient.

These people seem to only be in it for the money, do not seek their services. They are incompetent, unprofessional and incapable of doing good work.
