Safelite AutoGlass, St Clairsville OH

This is only about their silly automated phone system which just shuffled me around for 5 minutes and then said there's no one here to take your call and hung up. After trying lots of options to get a person I eventually did and she was quite nice.

Heard so much good about safelite. Had a simple chip repair that they claim would not crack a guarantee where nowhere in any fine print state that it may fail. Nor did the technician state that it may fail. Only stated that it's repairable only that it may crack during the repair was told it would take 30-45 minutes to repair and will only see a blemish. Technician only maybe 15 minutes to do "repair " i called back the next morning to say that it doesn't look sealed person who answered stated that I had nothing to worry about that it would be perfectly fine but if I wasn't satisfied with the work I could pay out of pocket for a replacement 2 days later my windshield is cracked stemming from their work where they guarantee that it won't crack at i email the corporate office get no response. Call their local office basically get that the repair failed and that they will take off the repair cost and put towards the replacement which is almost 40% more than all of the other quotes they won't make it right i highly do not recommend

So, three years ago we got a cracked windshield. Because some greasemonkey working for my brother in law, hauled our vehicle up a small hillside to a garage, we think he threw the chain over the hood and cracked the windshield doing so, and tried to say it was there before. Long story short, our insurance suggested Safelite, which we didn't know much about. It was nice that they come to you, and it was done very mind boggling quickly. And costing 400.00. Cut to two weeks later while driving the highway thru the town we live in. Something hit the windshield, it sounded like a rock. And what followed only made our anxiety worse. The small piece of gravel that hit the Safelite windshield, chipped. Then immediately split across the entire windshield. My gf spent a lot of time on the phone with them and got nowhere. And in hindsight after seeing the reviews of this company? Is hindsight 20/20. They not only dodged the cost of replacing the one we paid 400.00 for, but also said the gravel just needs to hit the auto glass a certain way and it'll chip and split. After getting absolutely nowhere with this company.the reviews we saw were much similar to our story or in some cases worse. Because they do not train their technicians well. Some people ended up with faulty locking systems or dashboards because the replacement the tech put in, he didn't do correctly. I set up an appt with a very well established and good company whom knew a great deal of their auto glass having undergone rigorous testing and American owned manufacturing. Here we are 3 years later and the quality auto glass still tough as nails and about 60 bucks cheaper than Safelite. SAFELITE sucks balls.

The prices offered by this location is way out of sync with close by/neighboring competition. Don't be fooled, you can do alot better price wise without sacrificing quality or service. We went with another auto glass replacement service in the area and saved $127 compared to the quoted price of this Safelite Auto Glass. Cute jingle, ugly cost.

Had a cracked windshield on my truck. Call them and I was able to get in within a day it only took him 2 hours to do the entire windshield the quality was great

The technician that come out to fix the chip in my windshield shield was very professional and friendly. I would have given 5 stars of they hadn't taken 4 days for an appointment.

Replaced windshield on my 17 subaru with collision cameras they recalibrate the cameras after the change they prompt on time and kept good communication during the whole process

Technician damaged my vehicle while doing my windshield replacement. He didn’t even tell me I found it the next day. So far have gotten no response from them about the issue

Tried to order a winshield replacement but now you have to do online.if company is to cheap to have manned offices I will take my business elsewhere

Technician basically did nothing to fix leaking windshield. He didn't seem very interested in doing what the manager and I discussed and agreed upon. Basically a waste of time driving in. They also messed up wiper blades on my wife's vehicle took 2 or 3 times to get them locked in. Not very impressed

Great service all around! I went online to book an appointment to have my windshield replaced. The process was quick and easy. Today a safelite employee named Alex showed up, explained the whole process and started to get to work. About a half an hour later he was done. Definitely will be turning to safelite again if needed!

Staff was friendly and professional. Took little longer than I expected. Work was of good quality

Very pleased. They even vacuumed my car for me. Don't see that kind of work much anymore.

Ty was our technician. He was prompt, courteous, and addressed all our issues. It was a pleasure having him come replace our windshield.

Price of replacement changes daily and sometimes by the hour. Got my windshield replaced yesterday for $339.99+$9.99 disposal fee + tax.

Today the site offers the same replacement for $249.99 and same fees.
An hour later today it offers the same replacement for $279.99 and same fees.

Service was fine but if prices change so frequently I reccomend going to another replacement shop.
