They want to dictate what you can and cannot wear, I understand they can with children but they should not with grown adults. And for as much as you pay, they need better hours to suit their members instead of closing at 3pm on Saturdays, 12 pm on Sundays during winter hours. If you don't deal well with the dress code and hours, the other gym in town is more your speed with less/no children.

This place is amazing. My son plays basketball here and we are very impressed with this facility.

The workers here are so friendly and very helpful! The equipment is very easy to use and makes the hard task of working out much easier.

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff. Just wish the teenagers would clean off equipment.

Calcutta needs a sports center like Salem has. Everytime I've been there both places seem to be very busy. Kids from all over Columbiana County use these families.

A wonderful place to have a child's birthday party! We all enjoyed swimming in the indoor pool. It was clean and well taken care of. The pool area has a lap pool, and children's pool that is shallow and a hot tub. In the locker rooms is a sauna. The locker rooms also have showers and changing rooms. The party room was nice and had enough room for us to enjoy food and friends. They supplied tables and chairs and allowed us to come in 30 minutes before the party to set up. We will probably continue to have my grandson's birthday party at Salem community center. It made getting ready for the party and clean up so easy. It also gave the kids something fun to do and we were still able to have a traditional party after playing in the pool.

It was suppose to be for the community that had low income and was at first now they want over 50 dollars a month for run down exercise equipment with a very small place to walk definitely not worth the money

Available hours to get there after working all day, are very limited. They change weekend hours without any notifications, even to their members. Very frustrating, and impossible to plan when workouts are possible if you can't even depend on the basic hours being the same from week to week! Also, most of the classes for seniors are during the day. I am a working senior and unable to take advantage of the classes during day hours. The evening classes have way too many people and are much too robust.

The Community Center is awesome. The pool is what I use, which is excellent. There is also a large "shallow"pool and a whirlpool. Indoor track, free weights, exercise equipment, basketball court.superlative experience.

IT IS WAY TO HOT IN THIS PLACE IK ITS A HEATED POOL BUT I COULDNT EVEN STAND TO WATCH MY 7 YR OLD SWIM BECAUSE I SWEATING SO BAD WE PAYED LIKE $20 FOR AN HOUR AND WE HAD TO LEAVE MY DAUGHTER ENDED UP VOMITING FROM BEING OVER HEATED!

Management failed to inform members that they're closing at 1PM on Sundays now. Already paying a premium, but now they close early on Friday at 6PM, Saturdays at 3, and now Sundays at 1. Wouldn't recommend to anyone until the Salem Community Center gets its priorities in check.

Loved the swimming area. We were guest of my friends toddlers b day party so not sure how good the price is but really nice n clean place with friendly staff.

What a Very Nice Campus for our Community, they have something for everyone.

So much to do! Enjoyed using my daughters walker with no walls to bump into she had a blast. She definitely wore herself out. We even played in the leaves. Beautiful huge park!
