Salvatore's Italian Grill, Warren OH

Food and service was excellent as always. We came up from Canton to have dinner here! My hubby's only complaint is that they leave the tails on the shrimp in his pasta dish.

Come here on special occasions or every once in a while for a nice dinner and the food here is wonderful and so is the service, I'll see you again

What a meal! Full portions and an authentic meal. Expect to eat in a welcoming environment with beautiful decor and even more delicious food. Calamari was hands down the best I've ever had.

Didn't like the pizza. I would have preferred a frozen if that says anything.
3 stars because although i won't be coming back, some other ppl might like it? Maybe.idk.not for me.

The staff when you pick up.to go orders was very confused about where are food was waited 20 and the food was behind her in a warming oven was cold and the sauces separated and forgot the cheese on the salad

My cousin and I stopped there after some shopping. I hadn't seen the remodel. Looks so different and very nice. I wasn't very hungry so had the Tomato and Buffalo Mozzarella Bruscetta with balsamic glaze. Very good and satisfying

This was the 2nd time we were here with another couple and both times the food was great and a lot of it. Our server was great!

Food was amazing. Chairs were very slippery on the floor. Service was lacking. Food temperature was inconsistent, may have been from sitting in the kitchen waiting to be brought to our table.

My family and I were seated, party of 7. We waited a half hour for someone to even approach our table. No one did. A member of our party went to the hostess desk and told them that we had been waiting and noone had come to the table. She apologized and said someone would be right there. No one came. In the mean time, another table next to us was being served. A busser cleared the dirty table next to ours, the server came and got her tip, none if these people even glanced our way. After 45 min we simply left. That was some of our family their first time there. It was our last. Do better.

I've eaten here about 5 x's in the past 6 months and the food is always delicious! The ceaser salmon salad is to die for! I recommend this place all the time. The service has been on que everytime!

My husband and I love visiting Salvatore's whether it be for a few quick drinks at the bar or bringing the entire family for dinner. Staff are super nice, food is excellent, and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. This our favorite go-to for great Italian food!

DO NOT sit on the bar side at lunch time unless you sit at the bar. The bar tender is also the waitress and if the bar is full of the "regulars" then it's going to be a while. I ordered a water and a drink.took her a bit to make the drink which wasn't that great. Then I ordered the calamari for an app. Usually they bring you the rolls and pizza right of the bat, didn't happen. Finally got the calamari, the tentacles were cook perfectly, but the ring were over cook and rubbery so I left them. I ordered the veal parm with the soup. When she brought the soup thats when I got the rolls and cold pizza. Soup was good, but then I waited on the entrée, when I got it the veal was tough but I ate it cause I was still hungry but when I finished it I didn't have an apatite for anything else so then the waitress came with a box, I wasn't about to bring any of this home. I then paid the bill left her only the 15% and left with 1/2 the meal still sitting at the table. Don't think I'll be going back after that. I did notice other customers that came in after me and figured out they must have been regulars cause they got taken care of, got their pizza and rolls, and their food all before ME. Glade I didn't order the prime rib.

Most of our dishes were average but the service was very slow. Be careful when walking on the floors, they were very slippery.

The wife and I celebrated our birthdays last night there for dinner. Jenna J.was our server. She was the nicest server in every way possible. The food and portions were fantastic. Looking forward to our next visit.

Poor service. It took an hour and 11 minutes to get our food and the waitress smacked my drink down on the table. Food was mediocre. Service was terrible. Will not go back again.

Salvatore's is a store front location in a strip mall. Easily seen from the road and there is plenty of signage. Moderate crowd for a Wed night.
When seated at a bar area table we were given three separate menus. I get that restaurants want to update their menus without printing all new but 3 menus is silly. There was a bit of a wait for a server but when she arrived she was friendly. Pet peeve: raspberry tea is not iced tea. Don't offer iced tea and bring some fruit drink.
We placed our orders and bread and Ceasars Salad arrived quickly. The salad was a plate of lettuce with dressing in a cup. The garlic rolls and pizza bread was fresh but the pizza bread was cold.
The entrees arrived promptly. Large portions. Hot. Very flavorful. We were happy with both and took home lunch sized leftovers.
Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

The waitress was very friendly and she didn't offer me more coffee only at end when we were getting ready to leave, did she say you want more coffee, um no I could used it before we ready to go not going back

Why do you tell people to call upon arrival and an employee will bring your order out to you if they’re not going to do that?

I started using Salvatores due to their quality of Alfredo. Since the beginning when we started ordering their Alfredo because it was just as good (and not a bowl full of butter) reheated as is was fresh we we very satisfied with their food. The noodles had plenty of sauce on them and everything else we ordered on the salads and desserts were always fresh and the order was filled correctly.
The last three times we’ve ordered my husbands salad didn’t have all the items omitted from them that we requested so he couldn’t eat the salad or the bread. You can’t pick pepper juice or onion flavor off of the salad or the soggy bread rolls.
I had to start ordering the Alfredo dinners several meals ago by asking for plenty of sauce because the previous couple of meals barely had any sauce on them unlike they did when we first started getting food from Salvatores.
On Wednesday we ordered a shrimp Alfredo (shrimp on the side, which was only 4 little shrimps) and a kids manicotti with Alfredo sauce instead of marinara. I again asked for plenty of sauce on both meals. The bill ended up getting increased twice. It went from $44.00 to $49.25 due to me asking for plenty of sauce they ended up sending and unexpectedly charged me for a small side of sauce plus as I expected I had to pay extra for the Alfredo on the manicotti. The problem isn’t the extra charge so much. It’s the fact that my husband had to throw his salad and bread away again because it was covered in peppers and pepper juice which again made the bread soggy with pepper juice.
But the worst part is the Alfredo was so salty it was inedible itself. He ate his four shrimp and forced part of the Alfredo down due to being so hungry and the grandson wouldn’t even eat the manicotti because it was so terribly salty. I even tried to eat some to keep from wasting our money but I couldn’t stand the saltiness.
So we basically wasted almost $50 for throwing food away and what will now be THE LAST meal we order from there anymore. I can’t keep paying premium prices to throw away salads and meals that aren’t made according to the very well explained directions on your site for additional directions with each meal and greasy, extremely salty Alfredo that’s not edible.
Look on DoorDash site. We usually order from you once a week.

Gave 4 stars based on the excellent service & historically excellent food & great portions. However of our group, the chicken parm was dry/overdone as well as the sauce, & the meat sauce ordered with my ravioli was like hot tomato water with beef.
