Schaefer Plumbing has always provided amazing service. I’ve had them replace our septic sump pump, in house sump pump, snake our in ground gutter plumbing, diagnose plumbing leaks in my upstairs kitchen and replace external water supply lines. They’ve also successfully replaced my furnace’s mother board, my parent’s hot water tank and boiler. Very polite and clean and amazing to work with.

Excellent service. From the first call for service until the job was complete. The dispatcher worked with me while I waited for Moen replacement parts to arrive. She adjusted my scheduled tech and he was here as soon as I got my parts. I would revoke if you are looking for a quality job snd quality people give Schaefer plumbing a try you won’t regret it.

THEY DAMAGED OUR HOME! As you can see from the photos, missing paint, scratches, and even a hole left by their repairman. I would give them a ZERO STAR review if I could. Extremely poor experience! I would not recommend them to ANYONE! The final price was over $150 MORE than what was originally quoted over the phone. There was no communication with the installation technician (Bobby) on what the additional cost was going to be and we were home the entire time. When we questioned it, we were told to call the office, because he seemed not to care about anything but leaving (probably because our staircase was damaged). Cindy quoted us the lower price, then, basically called us liars when we requested that price. We spoke to a manager (Adam) who said he didn’t care what we thought, didn’t need our business because “they have been in business since 1955. ” He proceeded to hang up on me. Essentially saying he was right. Their prices are high, they are not trustworthy, honest or truthful. If you need plumbing services, PLEASE DO NOT USE SCHAEFER in Valley City!

I have used this company twice for big plumbing problems that were difficult to diagnose. They came out quickly, diagnosed the problems in both jobs, and got it repaired fast with no issues. The last job they made sure that the deteriorating pipe was replaced and connections were in good condition before they finished the job. The technicians were very experienced and cleaned up afterward. They are now my 'go-to' plumbing service.

They were also the company that installed our city water line. Great company great people I wouldn't use anyone else.
