Schindler's Fabric Shops, Cleveland OH

What a rare find for me! I didn't know this great fabric store was here. I was looking for an unusual type of shantung silk and they had it, in the right color. I'm happy. The store is owner operated so another great plus for me. I like to shop local and keep my money circulating in Cleveland. Two floors of great selections. Got my creative ideas flowing.

This place is amazing. The selection is accounting and the staff friendly and pleasant to talk to. I'm happy I have an amazing fabric store so close to me.

Our family has had a beautiful antique chair since the 1920s that has since gone into disrepair. The last time it was reupholstered was soon after WWII (!) and had eventually been stashed in a corner of the attic. We recently brought it out of storage to have it reupholstered but wasn’t sure where to buy fabric.

Were we glad when we stumbled into Schindler’s! Their fabric selection is amazing and they spent an ample amount of time with us as we narrowed down our selections.

The restored chair is now proudly displayed (and used) in our family living room. We would absolutely recommend Schindler’s to anyone looking for an expansive selection of reupholstery fabric.

I went to buy Fabric scraps to make Christmas Presents. I was able to fill a bag with scraps for $10. Then I also received a big bag of free assorted scraps. I am planning to make neck and back warmers with them.

What an amazing place. The staff was so, so helpful. Been telling all my friends about this place.
