17Their service is extremely quick. We called at 8 PM and they had someone at our house within 20 minutes to diagnose our issue. Travis Devault and his crew did a really good job fixing our problem. I highly recommend and will use again.
Travis Devault handled my problem with my furnace in a professional and capable manner. Also he was accommodating and understanding when my cat Tuna insisted on double checking his work and generally being a nuisance to which, in my opinion Travis went above and beyond to be friendly good-natured guest in my home.
Guy was nice but 300 bucks for him to tell us nothing was wrong? Wow won't call you again.

I am so pleased with my experience with Schmidt Service Now. I called the company for an appointment to get my air conditioner cleaned & serviced. They set me up with a appointment the same day. I was very happy about that but this even gets better as I meet Travis & Skylar. This is a father daughter team. They were very impressive. Travis is so professional & extremely knowledgeable while Skylar is just a extremely good assistant doing whatever needs to be done. Skylar made my seven year old ac look new & Travis had my unit checked out & explained any possible issues that could occur with it.
I give this father/daughter team a fantastic remarks as they checked all the boxes for a job well done. This company is extremely fortunate to have them both representing their company. I will be requesting them for any future issues.
My AC went out suddenly and Service Now sent Travis DeVault to help me. He explained what was needed and got it up and running until a new compressor could be ordered and installed. The essential part came in and the next day Travis worked quickly and effectively to replace the compressor before a coming rainstorm. I was impressed with his knowledge and his thoughtfulness to meet my need during a heat wave and on my time schedule. I’m going to continue to use Service Now because of technicians like Travis. Now I’m enjoying the cool because of him.

Schmid's Service Now (in Wooster) has kept my air conditioning & heating systems running well for many years. Over those years several technicians have kept my home appropriately cool & warm throughout the seasons with installations of furnace and air conditioning and with annual check-ups for each type of system. Travis DeVault, one of the company's best technicians, is particularly good at his craft. In addition to his skilled professional know-how, he's able to answer the many HVAC questions I've had for him and to do that in ways clear enough that even this lay person can easily understand. Another plus of SSN is the office staff. They are pleasant & efficient whenever a customer calls to schedule service—whether the visit is for recurring maintenance or for an unpredicted "surprise" (and not the good kind!) situation that happens from time to time. I give a top rating to this company, which is really to say I give five stars to the people who do their jobs so well at Schmid's Service Now.
They tore my AC apart to clean it. It has never been done before. It needed it really bad. They were not lazy and made it look like new!
Travis Devault is our service guy. Very nice young man, always prompt, and courteous. Trust him for all our heating and cooling.
The tech was super friendly and personable but their "tiered straight forward" pricing model is predatory and set up to take advantage of those less knowledgeable or not paying attention. I was willing to pay a reasonable premium to have the system checked but here is how they price their service. I stopped the tech after he ran a diagnostic and identified a fried capacitor, he said we are at looking at $437. I said for a $20 part and 10 minutes of your time? They built a $407 diagnostic fee/labor into their price because of how the tiers are structured, and that doesn't include the trip fee. Even if I had installed it myself from that point I was already $400 deep. If you value your money, look elsewhere.
Called for service on a very cold Saturday. Ryan called back promptly and helped me self-diagnose the issue and try a fix. That worked temporarily. Same issue next day. Ryan came to our home promptly, diagnosed the problem (which turned out to be minor), fixed it, then presented an extremely reasonable bill. Very pleased and grateful to Ryan.
