As George is finishing up, I am struck by how THRILLED I am at the job he did: removing 2 weight bearing walls, hiding beams in attic, drywalling, adding new wall with transom and hardware for my long pocket door spance. Everything was done with thorough communication and timeliness. Our ranch looks HUGE! He also mudded the repairs on ceiling and matched the existing pattern perfectly. George and Bryn were very patient in helping us understand the plan. We were so thrilled with the work on the beams, that we added to the project finishing a wall and adding transom, which I had planned to do myself (my husband likes George’s work much better than mine! He is much neater). Plastic walls were placed so the house was quite livable during the remodel. Thank you all! George, Scott and Bryn!

We found Scott Hall Remodeling through internet searches and are so very glad we did! They just finished up a significant kitchen remodel that included taking a wall out to open up into the living room. In every aspect they were incredibly professional. Bryn was the first team member we met and stayed with us throughout the project. He was FANTASTIC! The construction team members were superb as well. The quality of their work was superb. Additionally, they kept the worksite cleaner than any worksite I have experienced (and I have seen many). Now, there was some dust in the house, but compared to my expectations it was minimal. Austin took on managing the project early on and did a superb job keeping in touch and letting us know what was happening. The COVID hit towards the end of our project and we were worried that the kitchen would not be operational before the stay-at-home order went into effect. They listened to our concerns and worked diligently to get the appliances installed just in time. Then, once the order was in place, they took all the necessary measures to keep our family safe while finishing up the project.

I will set some expectations up front and these don't apply to just Scott Hall. Do not expect workers to be on-site every single day. It is a real challenge to schedule the different trades to come into the site. Because of this, there may be some days where nothing happens. My wife wasn't too happy when that happened, but it is the reality of any construction project. One other warning. It takes many weeks to go from making a decision on who to use and the beginning of the project. If a contractor is available immediately, you need to think about why that is. We had to wait a few months to get Scott Hall to our home but it was worth the wait!

Overall, we couldn't be any happier with Scott Hall. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Scott Hall Remodeling did a fantastic job updating our kitchen and bath. They finished on time, within budget and the work was outstanding. If I ever need to have tile installed again, I will only have Dan from SHR do it. His work is phenomenal! The carpenter (Joe) and plumber (Steve) do outstanding work as well. All three were very professional, very courteous, and just nice people to have around. I will definitely hire SHR for any future project that I may have.

Scott Hall Remodeling did a huge job in our early 20th century home. We had a very small master bathroom and large master closet as part of an addition by the previous owners. Scott and his team combined those two rooms into a spacious and luxurious master bath and created a new master closet from poorly used space in another room.

While their work is absolutely top-notch, what we found sets them apart is that Scott's team does an outstanding job of planning, project management, and communication. While we could possibly have gotten a similar level of finish from someone else, I have a hard time believing that anyone else could have handled the project as closely to schedule and with the amazing level of communication and ease of mind that we had with Scott Hall Remodeling.

We redid our kitchen with SHR and we couldn't be happier. They turned what we thought was impossible into a reality. From conceptualizing and visualizing our idea with Bryn, to the entire renovation process with Joe and Drew, it has been a breeze. They finished everything in the time they stated in the contract, made sure the work area stay clean and tidy when they leave for the day, and informed us first-hand whenever there is an issue. I thought it was going to be inconvenient at first but we could still live in our small 900 sq ft condo while construction went on. We would highly recommend anyone in Columbus area to give them a shot because they are worth it.

We hired Scott Hall Remodeling based on recommendations from multiple friends who used them. We had a complete kitchen/family room remodel. Two walls were torn down and a large I-beam was put in place to support the ceiling between the kitchen and family room. We challenged them with some of our requests and they pulled them off! We went from a cramped 1960's kitchen to a beautifully updated open-concept kitchen. The project was completed about October of 2017. We absolutely love our new living area and kitchen! Everyone on the crew was so nice and helpful. Their designer was so much help when we were choosing our granite and cabinets, as well as wall and floor colors. We would highly recommend SHR for any project you have. We hope to work with them again in the near future for some bathroom changes.

We hired Scott Hall Remodeling to remodel our upstairs bathroom. I'm very handy but this is a house built in the early 1900s and it was extremely complicated. We are extremely thrilled with the results.

Our great experience with them led us to have them back to do several more projects including a major downstairs renovation which involved tearing out several walls and redesigning a major portion of the downstairs including a kitchen and adding a downstairs bathroom as a part of that project.

We LOVE our new downstairs and working with SHR made us feel like we were always in good hands.

We've worked with Scott Hall Remodeling twice so far- once back in 2010 to remodel a full bathroom at our old house, and again in 2018 to finish the basement at our current house. They might cost somewhat more than your run of the mill contractor, but in return you get a group of reliable professionals who will provide you with an excellent end product. With our basement project in particular, the quality of the work down there is higher than our first and second floors! Our house is a new build (built in 2016), and on hindsight we wish Scott Hall had built our entire house! They also stay mostly on schedule with their projects, which seems to be a rarity in the construction industry.
