Scribes & Scribblers Child Development Center Inc, Middleburg Heights OH

I worked at scribes up until we had to close due to Covid in March of 2020. I loved it my experience with working with the school age was great! I mostly loved the job because of the kids, they were amazing and missed very much. I also have twins who attended preschool school here and it was amazing they learned so much from their teachers Mrs. Rachel, and Mrs. Desiree. The holiday celebrations were amazing and fun, I loved how they were big on celebrating with the children it was a great experience for myself and my twins. Christmas was so magical there. I would recommend working and sending your child to Scribes and Scribblers it’s a fun place to work especially the School age area.

Scribes and Scribblers was a terrible experience for our family. Erin Groves is extremely unprofessional and lies to parents and staff. There is no security, so anyone can walk in and freely roam the facility. The environment is not very clean - our child was sick far more than normal (for being at a daycare) - pink eye multiple times a year, diarrhea all the time, developed warts on hands. The staff come and go through a revolving door - mostly just graduated from high school with no experience or training. This provides no structure for children. And management treats staff horrible! There is intimidation being used by management (specifically Ms. Groves) when it comes to “favorites” and how specific children are treated. Her child was given different treatment by staff because they were afraid if losing their jobs. But any other child who was not controllable was asked to leave.

Now that I have had my children at different facilities for over two years to compare, I am sad that I ever left my child at such an unsafe, unclean, and terrible facility. We were told by Erin Groves that our child had disabilities that needed to be addressed, and then we were asked to leave. (This came after we had complaints about teachers and how many we saw coming and going, as well as questioning structure and safety of the school) Now, two years later, we have had no issues with our child at better facilities, our child is thriving and showing above average skills and ability, and not sick all the time like while at Scribes.

If you just need a low end service to keep your child alive, then Scribes and Scribblers will work for you. But if you want a place that cares, will help to teach and guide, have safety and health as a priority, then GO ELSEWHERE!

Such a amazing center, esp Miss Erin. She is so caring and understanding, puts the children first and they absolutely love her. A complete asset to the center.

Scribes is by far one of the best child development centers that I know. The staff take their jobs seriously and professionally. I am completely amazed by the degree of care that is given on a daily basis. Great job and keep up the good work.

My husband and I absolutely love this facility. We felt safe knowing our daughter was going there daily and recieving wonderful care. The only reason we stopped going here was due to a move and the distance of our new home. Our daughter loved going here and she still asks to go to "school" to see her friends and teachers and it has been three months. Great place!

Wonderful facility and great staff! I have a 6 yr old that attends the summer camp program and a nephew that attends their pre school program. My nephew has advanced so much since he has enrolled and both kids love coming to Scribes!

Both of my children go to scribes both in babyland and the preschool end. My children have advanced so much and they love coming to the daycare! Everyone is so kind and really communicates with us parents
