Second Chances Consignment Thrift Shop, North Ridgeville OH

While this store is very nice and the owner was pleasant, I was very disappointed in the way business was handled. The 2 things I asked about were not priced and she went and looked them up to see what they were selling for to give me a price. I don't know if thats how normal consignment shops work, but I feel like that was unprofessional. I also asked about a Disney Purse and she said she would like upwards of 1k and not a set price like she was fishing for a price when the purse was normally 300. As a collector of other things myself, I understand how these things work, and thankfully im smart enough to look online myself and saw that this item was in stock in the Disney website and selling for its normal price just about everywhere when she said one had sold for 1400. Thankfully I was able to get it for regular price. If it was a little increase in price, sure, I can understand with inflation nowadays, but that was an insane price increase and if it was someone else who wasn't educated to look it up, they would have been taken advantage of. Not someone I would want to do business with in the future as awesome as the shop was.

I love this shop! I recently lost weight and plan to lose more and I stopped to see what was there. I was able to replenish my work wardrobe for a fraction of new! And quality name brands.
I also got a great set of new pans and s fishing gift for the hubby. The shop owner is a lovely lady.
I will stop back!

Went there to just look around because I never been there before so I thought to check it out. Ended up finding a great work light and a pair of sunglasses, both were good prices! The owner gave me a water as well and was very nice. Hope her business does well

Fairly overpriced for what is in the store you're essentially paying eBay sold listings on used goods. I'm not looking for a steal when I go to a consignment store but $125 for an ugly stick that's 5 years old is a little egregious. Was fairly pleasant experience until the very end that completely ruined it the lady working there told me that she was going to be open later tonight as I couldn't make a decision and if I wanted anything to come back, I let her know that I had taken a few pictures of some things that I might have been interested in and that I would certainly stop back later. Her demeanor completely changed and she told me that I needed to ask her to take pictures inside of her business even though nothing is posted anywhere regarding such, she was extremely rude and continually reiterated that it's completely normal for people to ask to take photos inside of small business which as someone who works for small business themselves makes zero sense to me. Completely rude and unreasonable completely killed the experience I will not be returning

Very friendly, very accommodating. Although hoping to leave early when I arrived, but still offered to guide me through the packed little shop, that was clean and fresh like" unusual for a used or resale store. I will come back and do recommend it.

A lot in a small space. There really isn't room to walk around. The lady working was VERY overwhelming and made us uncomfortable. We kept our visit short.

Unique little gem right in the heart of North ridgeville. I had no idea that thrift store was right under my nose. Great selection of clothes, kids stuff, purses, jewelry. I'll definitely be back since the owner said inventory changes regularly.

I parked in the plaza lot to go get a tattoo next door. I was in the tattoo shop for less than an hour and the lot was empty. When I came back to my car the owner yelled at me for parking in “her” space. There are no signs designating spots for each business in the plaza and there is additional parking in the back. Thought the shop looked cute but I won’t go in after that.

I love thrift shopping and stop in to this place frequently. I brought my niece with me last time and she went on a shopping spree. The inventory changes quite often (seasonally) and the items are well priced as well. The owner donates alot to individuals in need which is such a blessing to others in this day and time. Check it out…. You might find a hidden treasure there like I did.
