12One of the quieter metro parks, great place to take the dog. Kiddo loves it bc the playground equipment is kept up well and not crazy crowded
Wonderful trails for walking or riding bikes not too difficult and mostly paved. Excited to see what expansions are made.
I bicycle 15 mi.form home and take a 10 to 15 minute rest at their front porch before coming home. There are walking and bike trails in the park and 2-3mi.down to Wiregrass Park and passing by Irwin Prairie Park. Lucas County has a great park system.
There is a gorgeous view of the water. Talk about places to play or throw a bday party or even an anniversary! Bathrooms available, cabana, and little play areas for children to play.
Its a nice park to take a walk in by your self or with you pets, the scenery and environment is nice to enjoy. The walkways are not the best kept up but they are workable. Definitely pay attention to the post as you can get lost easy lol
Went walking ️ one evening. The brown trail could use some more stone in parts. It is slippery!
It good to get away for the traffic and just listen.
They just installed new playgrounds equipment, less busy than wildwood, but just as many trails.
Update 9/10/22
With the planned expansion it will be the biggest metropark in the area. Our family goes to this park 1-2 times per week.
Great park for the play place and kids, that's our main use, and the restrooms there are nice and maintained.
What an amazing Metropark and facility! Starting point for a tour the Metropark offered and it is a jewel of a park!
What a beautiful park! So many trails. Natural trails to paved trails. Nice play areas for kiddos. Spots for fishing and picnics and partys! Great place to ride your bike also. This park offers many experiences for all ages!
Relaxing place, you're allowed to take your animal (s) for a walk, they have longer paths if you really need to clear your head.well taken care of,
