I got my external hard drive shipped back in less than three weeks after they received it, and almost everything was recovered without damage. This type of services could be a bit costly but for me the data was too precious to lose it.

I reached out to 3 different data recovery services and decided to go with Secure Data Recovery. I initially spoke to Scott who explained where the clean room is located, the process of getting my hard drive to the clean room, and a price range of what it would cost to pull the data off the drive and send it back. Since this wasn't something paid for by a big company, I was mainly making my decision based on cost, however, Scott was very helpful from start to finish. I even had trouble finding all the files once I received the external memory stick and he emailed me back within 5 minutes directing me where to look for the files. I had a great experience and definitely recommend this company and Scott for anyone who has lost data on their computer. It was a lifesaver!

Giving 4 stars because they are very helpful, nice, and can definitely retrieve your data. But, I was quoted $1480 dollars to get data off a broken phone, I took it somewhere else to see if I could find cheaper and u break I fix in Avon was able to do it for $100, $1400 less. So if small places can’t do it then this is definitely the place to go but you will be paying an arm and a leg.

Scott took care of our bad drive and was able to get the files back to us before an upcoming deadline. So far, the files appear to be recovered. The quick responses were appreciated.

Normally this is not a review that you want to leave. It means you are using this service to deal with a computer issue that you don''t need, want or wish on your worst enemy (well maybe not this one). Bottom line.this is not really on the top of your list of things to do. Fortunately it was on the top of Jonathan''s list. He stayed on top of our issue and made sure it kept moving along, while I would rather go to the dentist. Without Jonathan''s focus on our issue, we would have been missing our important data that much longer.

I had 4 hard drives to be evaluated to see if any pictures/videos that could be recovered although, data was found but no pictures or videos could be retrieved. It was a pleasure working with everyone from this team, everyone was so helpful and professional! Jake was outstanding and always called me with updates and what the next steps were.
