Servatii Pastry Shop 8 Mile reviews
14I wanted some iced donuts with a certain color icing, although they had iced doughnuts they would not tint the icy red for my doughnuts. I found another bakery that would do it, disappointed,
Best Ruben sandwich of All Time! Cookies, soft pretzels- all the things! I will not visit Cincinnati without stopping here!
We ordered catering for my nieces grad party and the food was fresh and delicious. Our guests especially loved the pasta salad and the pretzel bites with cheese and spinach dip!
These doughnuts were some of the best I have ever tasted! It must be the cream! Must try, highly recommended!
Wonderful, clean, helpful. A cashier directed me to a different store when Servaati's didn't carry the exact item I was looking for. Professional, courteous, and kind. Plus yummy food!
Great selection. Never disappointed with purchases. Employees still carry out the families pride of product. Sometimes a bit cranky
Great people, great food and amazing bakery! From doughnuts, cookies pastries and so much more. You won't be disappointed!
We ordered four sandwiches, three waters, and a gatorade. After waiting 30 minutes, we had to go up and ask for our sandwiches. They completely forgot about one of the sandwiches and somehow we didnt pay for the gatorade. This is a combination of lazy register management and slow cooks. Maybe they should hire people that know what they are doing, not inexperienced college kids.
I was really upset yesterday. I was coming in town to celebrate my son's 9th birthday with my family. I called to order cupcakes on Thursday for his birthday on Saturday the 20th. Told the lady exactly what I wanted and said I'd pick them up at 8am. My husband and I got over yesterday at 8: 30 to pick them up. I was so upset, almost in tears when we get there and to my surprise, no cupcakes. They couldn't find the order and wanted me to push off the cupcakes for a few hours. I said no then wanted me to buy some premade cupcakes that weren't what I wanted. I asked if they could put the soccer balls on the cupcakes like I ordered. She went to the back and said they didn't have any. So they wouldn't have been able to make them with the soccer balls anyway. I ended up buying a premade cake. The girl that helped us yesterday morning was very nice and gave us a discount because of the mix-up.
But it's disappointing when I always went to Servatii's for cakes when I lived there. So, to call them from out of state and told no problem they'll be ready. I even offered to prepay. Then nothing was upsetting. It was my son's birthday, but what if I had ordered a wedding cake or big cake for a big party and this happened.
I
understand they made it somewhat right, but it's the principal of it.
Lots of choices on Danish, not just donuts. But beyond that, love the pretzel rods - warm with any of the dips or just plain. Also a nice place to grab a sandwich for lunch or dinner. Friendly staff with plenty of parking.
Wow I didn't know there was breakfast and lunch here besides awesome baked goods. I will definately come back
Some of the best pastry in town. Always fresh. Nice atmosphere. Some prepared food items to eat in for lunch.
Always an excellent bakery! The food is top notch! Service is great. Everyone is very knowledgeable. Have been going there for years!
The sweets look delicious of course, but am not a coffee drinker at all and people who are picky about the way they drink it are annoying to me. Was raised to accept and be agreeable and when the only coffee choice was basic cream or sugar or black, not all this other hoopla garbage, where it is acceptable to hem and haw and demand about petty things in life. There is one in Fairfield which is about a quarter of a size of this one, but it does not have deli. Was coming from forty five minutes away for an interview and they wanted me to come for a second interview, which was good, but couldn't they just have done it all in one day, considering the managers were all there and that I was coming from so far away? Not very courteous on their part, so no thanks. Also, not a place for me to work where customers are so picky about what goes in their coffee. I would lose patience quickly.
