Shadylake Campground, Findlay OH

Friendly owner, very nice residents. Only 30 amp service, 50 amp is used by long term residents. Several really old very run down RVs and trailers that take away from the clean look of it. It's nice for a few days. Runs parallel to I-75. A lot of highway noise. All and all a nice place, reasonable price per night. No Wifi or cable.

My family is here and so I know everyone here and this is where we spend our time with family its AMAZING!

For being a 30 year union electrician this place is really a dump not kept up rundown old campers scattered all over the grounds sitting rotting away stayed last year there and all was good this year not very good at all. I think it's a need for money when your rent is due a certain day but in the middle of a rain storm pounds on the door wanting rent nobody deserves that treatment when it's not due. Spend the extra money on a better place it will pay off

The place only has 30amps, the water has a high sulfur smell and no dumps. The owner only wants cash as to not have to report on taxes.

Owner is unpleasant please don't waste ur time got kicked because our dog barked and because I asked my mom to hand me my phone and he told us we had to leave

This place is a dump. Expensive. Bathrooms a mess. No hot water so asked attendant. Nearly got attacked by his pitbull. He checks but says can't fix til tomorrow. Don't think there ever was any hot water as only one line and one faucet into the shower. Noisy. Would sleep in the woods rather than go here again.

Camp ground is nice but you have to pay to visit a friend staying there. I understand if spending the night (5 dollars) but $2.50 just to stop by the camp ground they already paid a lot rent for is crazy.

Hands down the worst campground in Northwest Ohio. The owner of the area is unpleasant, unfriendly, and unprofessional. The lake is not maintained. The water hookups smell repugnant. There are "rules" that are enforced after the fact with no warning. Even the permanent's there are bitter, and act as though they dont want to be there. Literally anywhere else would have been a better time.

What an appropriate name to be called "Shady Lake". The place is shady alright. Save your money, and keep your distance.

This place sucks. Everything you try to do there's a rule against it.but no signs posted. They have these really sketchy paddle boats tied to the dock. They wait to tell you this until after you're out there that it's $5 an hour. Again no signs. Not to mention it's right by the freeway which means no peace and quiet. Go two miles further to Van Buren State Park. Much nicer:)
