Shake Shoppe, Gallipolis OH

One of those small town burger & shake diners you group up loving! Old time feel with excellent variety in American burger, dogs and ice cream/shakes. If I lived here, I'd eat here everyday!

Good food today, until she told me how much it was, they raised prices since last time, goin to McDonald’s next time. $19 for 2 doubles 2 fries and small drinks

Ordered a chocolate flurry (their version of a flurry). Came out vanilla. The employee seemed annoyed that I asked him to fix it and then they mixed some chocolate syrup into my vanilla flurry and served me soupy vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup mixed in.

A fun old time ice cream shoppe with hand dipped and soft serve ice cream. Great food also.

Shake Shoppe is always a classic hang. Love going there when in town, especially for a stuffed shirt or a footlong and a waffle cone.

The burgers were good, and the the prices are reasonable. Our orders were prepares quickly and accurately. The workers were friendly and helpfu.

I just stopped in for a light snack. I got an order of Onion Rings and a Pepsi and it was really good. This looks like a neat little place. Sort of like a small White Castle but with more food menu options and more desserts. Very clean with friendly staff. Very reasonable prices. Large Onion Ring and Large Pepsi was only about $5.50. I will be back.

My parents took would take me and my sisters to the Shake Shoppe when we were little. Now that I have a family I take my kids there too. And it hasn't really changed at all over the years. All my family like different things to eat but they can all find something they want to eat here. From hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, hotdogs to barbecue. And they have all kinds of icecream. From banana splits to strawberry shortcake. And a huge variety of old fashioned hard ice cream that you watch them dip for you. My kids try a different ice cream treat everytime we go. But I always get a giant banana split with loads of caramel and tons of whipped cream. The Shake Shoppe is a fun, delicious place to eat.

I only come to Gallipolis three or four times a year I was born and raised there. And while in town my grandchildren always want to come to The Shake Shop and we love it

This place has been in Gallipolis forever! My husband is a chocolate LOVER. This is the 1st place he has ever been this happy with his extra, extra, extra chocolate milkshake. Said it was the best he's ever had! We travel and find out of the way restaurants to try.

Worst service I have ever experienced in my life, I went up to the counter to ask for some ranch for my chicken strips and nobody even acknowledged that I was standing there until my boyfriend said something

This place has been open for ever and i know why there burgers and ice cream are to die for and there other food as well i will always have a place for shake shoppe in my heart.

Definitely enjoyed the charm of the place. It was cute to see younger and older companies on dates. The dinner was okay, dessert was great. I will absolutely go back for the desserts and burgers. Though I might call in my order for pickup, kinda felt like all the other customers knew what they wanted and I was slowing everyone down by being a first timer.

Great hamburgers and fresh the food is hot and fresh best malts and.milkshakes and rooter floats a ND Great selection of scoup ice cream and soft serve also. All is great. Friendly and very helpful.

This place is fantastic. If you haven't been there, go there! There is just not enough good to say about the food here, from the signature "Stuff'd Shirt" to the shakes that are just so good you could be quite satisfied with a small, but your taste buds will be begging for more. I can't think of any items that are served that aren't really tasty. The burgers are ranging from very good to great, hot dogs very good, sloppy joes, fries, onion rings. Every time you come here you can be a kid again (food wise), even if for only a little bit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the place very clean, good parking and lots of atmosphere. Oh, and another thing, the prices won't bust your budget. Or your wallet.so. Come on down and get stuff'd in a good way!

Was charged twice for my meal because they had an issue with their card swiper, even after I showed them where it was already taken out of my account they still want to charge me again which left me short on something else I was planning to do that day and I'm still waiting for the money to be entered back into my bank account like they said what happened hasn't happened yet so they are not trustworthy especially when it comes to your cards Fraud Alert

Just went in to use the restroom, had to take my granddaughter in there and it really stunk bad. The bathroom was disgusting. That was all we did was use the restroom did not pick up new food did not eat.

What an amazing place! It’s like stepping back in time to a 1950’s diner. Prices are great and food is fantastic! Staff was so kind to us also. Wish we lived closer so we could come back often. We’ve added this to our must come back to stops in the future.

Everything was great i love that it was clean on the intierer the food was so good and they have a wide variety of food i would recommend if your visiting gallispolice

Very good food and the icecreme is to die for when I'm in the area rain snow or shine I will always stop to get a milk shake!
