Shaker Heights Apartment Living I-A

I would not recommend this place. I completed my lease paid a $250 deposit and was ghosted by the property manager. I called the property manager for 2 almost 3 weeks straight along with emails regarding my deposit and received one response. My debit card has a daily max of $2000 and the deposit was $600 over that. I sent an email and text to see if I could pay via cashiers check, no response. After 2 weeks of no further response after completing the lease, I had to find something else in a rush. I was do to move out of my other residence by December 31,2022 and by this time it was December 20th.

I finally received an email from the owner regarding paying the deposit and I informed him of the situation and told him because there was no response I had to find an alternative place to live (another property). I basically threatened with court and now they are trying to hold me accountable for $4500. The owner is trash and I never give bad reviews.

I called the property manager several times and she claims her phone was messed up. That doesn’t take 2 1/2 weeks to fix. I had my boyfriend call and she answered, which makes me believe I was blocked. They now have a new number listed to call for availability and it’s is to a hotel reservation line. That seems like a scam to me.
