Bouldering is super awesome here. Staff is super rude and condescending. Top roping routs seems very uncreative and repetitive.

Had a great time for my first time there with my nephew! Staff was knowledgeable and helpful! I will definitely be coming back!

We climb here twice a week. The walls are great, the challenge ratings feel fair, the routes change frequently enough to keep it fresh but not too quickly that you can't finish a project. Staff is friendly and helpful, and the culture here is welcoming and inclusive.

From bouldering to top rope, excellence throughout. The staff is super friendly and the equipment is top notch. I always look forward to my sessions. I highly suggest checking them out

Great place to go for exercise if you hate doing physical activities and you want to trick yourself into being more active and going out to public places more. Highly recommend to any introvert in need of exercise and/or an outlet. Super fun, staff are friendly, the daily polls at the front desk are funny, massive candy bars and cool stickers and merch (hoodies, beanies, sweaters, T-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, etc.), great climbing routes, bouldering area is fun and good for when you want to climb but you've already climbed a lot on the big areas so your arms are like noodles or you're just tired, or none of those reasons. Great, amazing place. 5 stars all around.

I had the pleasure of visiting Shaker Rocks to volunteer for a youth event, and it was my first time at a climbing facility. I was truly impressed with the dedicated volunteers who organized the event. During my visit, I also had the chance to chat with a few regular climbers who couldn't speak highly enough of this place. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and now I can't wait to return and try climbing for myself. This spot has left a fantastic first impression on me!

Owner is incredibly professional, the bathrooms are clean, and all of the climbing routes are updated every month. Everything I could look for in a gym: ') favorite place to spend an afternoon

I've added a review for this place but, here I am again asked to do another! I've only been once and I don't think it's a place that I will join. It's costly for one and not diverse. However, there is an organization working with SHAKER ROCKS to involve more people of color. There aren't enough walls where you won't need a buddy to help you climb! So if it's super crowded and you're alone, you may be waiting forever to climb. It definitely smells like a gym. Could have been cleaner. The weight area was not. It's super small but a nice little add on to the gym. The staff are great as I could tell they enjoy what they do. I went for an event (BBQ) appreciation for members. I was of course invited by one. It was really nice! Music, food, fun games, band and custard. My daughter enjoyed herself and she did climb a little. Before the event there were not that many people, so she was able to get a feel of the place, it was her second time coming. Overall, it's a nice spot. A few adjustments would make it a great gym.

Reply to "Owner".
I apologize that you Read between the lines of my review. I gave your establishment 4 Stars I also mentioned that I had a great time and the STAFF are GREAT! All of the walls you mentioned have been tried or climbed. I was speaking only of the "belaying" walls. Thank you for your response.

Only been here once but it's still tied for my favorite bouldering place after ~10 different gyms

We wished there were more autobelaying options. If you take many kids at once it is nice for them all to climb and only 3 were available on the day we were there. The staff were friendly and it is very clean.

Great stay-cation spot! I took my teenage son and daughter on a Friday in early afternoon. It was busier than I expected but not crowded, which was perfect to get in lots of climb time and be able to watch other climbers. We had only tried rock-climbing once before many years ago. That being the case, I wanted a guide to show us the basics. I highly recommend calling a few days before and scheduling an off-schedule Taste of Climbing class if possible. It was fantastic to have someone show us how to use the equipment and belay for us. Our instructor was very helpful and knowledgeable, helping us strategize and encouraging our progress. After an hour with the instructor, we stayed for another hour and climbed on our own. At that point, we were exhausted-but the good kind where you feel like you accomplished something!

One of the best gyms in all of Ohio! They have something for everyone here and the route setters are the best! Also extremely supportive of LGBTQIA2S+

Average climbing gym focused mostly on top rope and lead. I visited while in town and it was tough because they only had 2 autobelay set ups. Nevertheless, friendly staff and clean set up. If you have a belayer your experience would likely be better!

Nice place. However people who climb there are very rude and cringy. When I tried to top rope some route, where there wasn't anyone, one creepy man (~70 y.o.) came over to me very closely, stared at me for like 30 seconds, then said that he was going to climb this route and this is why he tied the rope, and I have to get out of his way. Really? I don't mind. I just can't read the minds of other people. If he gives this attitude to anyone he definitely has a psycho problem. Staff please pay attention to people with such attitude toward customers. This is very upsetting.

Go there! If you haven't tried Rockwell climbing you need to do it. You don't have to be in perfect shape. Of course it's challenging and a good whole body workout. But you can be overweight or out of shape and still do it. Take the kids, too! Plus, there's an intrinsic sense of accomplishment and self-confidence once you get to the top. Especially if you've been afraid of heights. Clean and inviting atmosphere with friendly folks who are eager to help if you need it.

Nice big climbing gym! I think there are at least 7 auto belays but more geared towards beginners (good for me).

The staff were nice, professional, and just amazing! I’ll definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again.
