Shamy Heating & Air Conditioning, Toledo OH

On Christmas eve my furnace motor went out at 2am, I called like 19 companies for help. Within 10 minutes of calling Shamy Heating and Air Conditioning, they returned my call and Within 1/2 hour out to give me help. They were polite and curious on the phone and service technician also as polite and knowledgeable to my needs. The parts were ordered and installed a couple of days later with little to no effort. I called because my AC was not running and Shamy was able to get a technician to my home in less than 2 hours.
The person who took my call was very pleasant and the technician was able to fix my AC immediately. He was also patient while I struggled with my home warranty company to approve the service. I've worked with Shamy a few times and have always been treated well.

Fantastic product they sell and instal! They installed my furnace and A/C 20 years ago, and I have had them out every year to clean and check them. I am writing a review after 20 years of their services, I have had absolutely no problems with them at all.
Compared to other contractors I have used in the past, these guys are wonderful. I will have them replace my system again in a few years. Thank you Shamy!

Nice guys, they went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with their installation of a new A. C.

The Service Technician's name is George, he did a wonderful job explaining what he was doing and asked me how we look at our HVAC systems. Through this discussion he suggested that I consider a Annual Maintenance package. I thought it was a good value. My Father in Law were customers of Shamy so we will "hang our hat" here for future HVAC needs. Thank you George and to Shamy for taking care of my wife's mom and dad. Now the fall tune up is covered!

I had no heat I was charged 149.00 bad thermostat. He wanted to sell me a standard thermostat for 230.00 I was still left with no heat next morning tech came and I still had no heat charged again first check was cashed the very next morning. I will NEVER use Shamy heating and Air Conditioning again. It was a late night call tech kept getting text messages kept looking at his phone? A friend brought a basic thermostat for 27.00 and I have heat now 230.00 I question that price?

Unprofessional, miserable family who not only insults every single client, but their homes as well. If i could give negative stars, i would have. Do not give these miserable people your business. They'll pretend to work on your appliance, take your money, & go back to the office & talk about how dirty your home was. You've been warned lol

I only had a small leak in the inducer housing that just needed to be resealed. My home warranty sent Shamy Heating and cooling to fix the problem. The tech was trying to tell me there was other problems with the furnace and the Induser housing was cracked. He was doing that so can sell me a new one. Sure my furnace is old but is working perfectly fine and don't need to buy a new furnace. They decided to order a new inducer housing but will be in till tomorrow. I lived in the house 17 years and i know everything about my furnace. When i called the office and talked to a guy name Mark to explain to him he got very rude and cancelled the order. I asked him if he was the owner or the manager, he said he was the manager but i found out later he was the owner. I called M & M heating and cooling came the same day sealed the part that was leaking and in 45 minutes was fixed. The tech from M & M was very nice and he said their was nothing else wrong with my furnace.if you need service on your furnace or your AC call M & M.

This company is indeed a SHAM. The pattern of their behavior speaks volumes. Overpriced service, repeat charging of the SAME issue. Google does not allow 0 stars unfortunately. The company NEVER responded to any of the below complaints, simply stating that some of the reviews used aliases that they couldn’t find that customers name in the system. I am going to have the county and potentially the state do a full investigation on your business practices!

Lied about maintenance program, didn't service A/C, tried to mark furnace as high CO levels to scare us into buying one of their price gouged heating units, drilled into the unit without permission or consent and then put a unsafe label on the unit to scare away a second opinion which verified they were lying.do not trust shamy.

We have dealt with Shamy for years, they have great people working for them. Installs prove them to be knowledgeable and very hard workers. We highly recommend this company for your heating or cooling needs.

We've been utilizing their services for several years now, usually for yearly maintenance. During the frigid cold snap our furnace, while still working, was doing some funny stuff and making odd noises. They responded right away and maintained communication as to arrival time. Very pleasant tech who explained what the issue was and fixed it accordingly. There may be less expensive options but these guys have NEVER let me down so I will continue to use them.

So far so good! Deliver the job in the time specified and the a/c is great. Need to wait to check the heat

Used them recently for AC repair and stated this was not an emergency. Needed a capacitor replaced. Very professional and quick. However VERY over priced. Used them in the past for furnace maintenance. Will not use them again. I don't mind paying top dollar for good service but was charged almost double for this type of professional service.

They fixed my ac. And did tune. The repairman was so polite n took his time to explain things. Love them

Shamy Heating & Cooling was fantastic!
With a week of 90 degree weather we did not expect to be able to receive same day service with any company. We had a technician here within an hour of calling and our AC was repaired less than 45 minutes later!
The technician, Josh, was extremely knowledgable, helpful, and went out of his way to get information for us.

I have nothing but great things to say about Shamy Heating. They were the only ones who came out on a weekend night when my furnace first died on me, and they got it running temporarily until they could get the part to try and fix it. After they put the part in we saw that it wasn't going to fix it for long so I had Jason come out and give me a quote on a new Lennox furnace. I decided to go with them and they showed up on time, and they were very professional and they got the old furnace out and the new one installed in no time at all. The guys that came out we're very hard working, and very friendly, and they answered any questions I had also. I highly recommend Shamy and everyone I dealt with from the office, to the salesman, to the technician, to the installers we're all really great
