Going with sharefax was a great decision. I was able to get a half percent better rate going with these guys compared to everyone else I checked with. Amber Jordan was very sweet and knowledgeable and made the end of lease buy out process so easy for me. I couldn't have had a better experience. I highly recommend!

WHAT financial institution (?) in 2023, with everything occurring locally and even nationally relative to the safety of USPS mail and its mail carriers, mails a "Pre-authorized" Debit card to its customers-without any need to verify the new card? What responsible financial institution when questioned about the sanity/safety of this action, would inform the customer that, "Well. It's up to you to check your transactions. If you have reason to be that somebody used your card fraudulently; then we would reverse those charges. " Really? How about engaging in soundly professional PROACTIVE MEASURES to prevent or lessen the likelihood of such to begin with? Just ridiculous. This and similar occurrences make this credit union appear (?) to operate like a novice on a first-rodeo, lemon stand-on-the-sidewalk (misad) venture.

I have been a member for over 15 years. Called to get a Home Equity loan. First person told us he wasn't experience enough to help so he transfered us to another person who didn't answer the phone. Left two voice mail messages before she called only to tell us she didn't have time to deal with us. She said she would send us on to someone else and they would call us back within 1 to 2 hours. Guess what? No call back. We have our house loan through them. A car loan through them and a credit card through them. Won't be that way for long.

Up date,
As of 10/1/22, we pulled our savings and checking accounts out of Shaefax. We refinanced our house with Rocket Mortgage and canceled our Shaefax credit card.

Been with Sharefax for 20+years. Loved them, they were small business, friendly, personable, and in all was a family feeling bank while all the other big banks were racking up fees, I felt safe with Sharefax. These past 5 years have been horrible.
I guess after you started charging random fees here and there, got all that money- build the big building then turned around and hired HORRIBLE customer service reps. I work in customer service so for me to call MY bank to inquire about MY money - I apologize if that bothers you- Go work somewhere where you don't interact with people. I literally just got off the phone with Mick! I had to ask for the name (I should know who I'm speaking to). Then I had to damn near draw out answers to my questions that if this CUSTOMER SERVICE person had a personality and drive to be awake at work- I could of got all my answers in less the time. Sorry to bother you Mick- at your job - as a customer service rep! If my whole family wasn't tied into Sharefax I'd find another credit Union that remembers why they're a credit union and not a big bank! Getting to big for your britches - stay humble before you crumble!

I have had a dispute with the dispute department for my ATM card. The dispute department process is horrible and hard to understand and has caused great frustrations for myself. I became so frustrated that I came into the Batavia branch to discuss my problems. When I walked in, I was at a level 10 and when I walked out, I was a level 3. This is due in part to Gina at this branch. She listened to my problem and made a phone call to see what was going on. She then explained to me the process and why I was seeing money taken out of my account. She also explained the process clearly on how the refund would work. Thank you Gina for all your help. This is why I have been with Sharefax for as long as I have. However, please do something with your call center dispute department.

My husband and I have worked with Amber Jordan several times, and each time has been a wonderful experience! Amber has been extremely helpful, and has went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed to ensure quality service! She is very prompt and dedicated to providing her customers with nothing less than impeccable business. We will continue to work with Amber and Sharefax for years to come! I knew better when I opened this account. The experience has been absolutely awful from the start. They sneak a huge prepaid fee in right at the beginning. The dealership makes sure to skip right past that part and distract you realizing it. They begged me to take on the loan for 3 months so they could make some extra money. Then Sharefax makes it impossible to make a timely payment without paying a fee to literally give them money that they are already charging me money for! This is the most profitable non-profit I've ever encountered. Then I get harassed by another company who sends me an outrageous auto insurance bill! I'm 42 yrs old and fully insured with a 840 credit rating and have been treated like delinquent. Processing a payment takes forever. Customer service told me no less than 3 times that they had closed. She even counted the minutes. "Sir we closed 3 mins ago. Sir we closed 5 mins ago. Sir we closed at 5: 30. " Then why are you answering the phone? I will be taking this to the BBB and attorney general. I'd like my fee for the 13 days it took to process a payment reversed.and I'd like my Prepayment fee refunded and then I'd like to pay it off and be done. But no. "Sir we are closed, I can't take you money! "

And the website and app are absolutely useless. Can't see account info. Can't make a payment without jumping thru hoops or paying more fees.

Absolutely insane.
