Shawarmaholic, Toledo OH

Simply out - the most authentic shawarma in town and it's a shockingly large sandwich when compared to the competitors in the area. It's my go to restaurant for sandwiches and when we request catering at the hospital. Very good front staff.

We stopped at Shawarmaholic in Toledo, Ohio. We got a mixed platter with hummus and rice, and a chicken kabob platter with rice and fries. You get to choose two sides (fries, rice, coleslaw, or hummus for an extra dollar). You also get to choose one sauce (garlic, tahini, or tzatziki). We got the garlic sauce which was really good.

Rice made up less than a quarter of the plate. They gave a LOT of meat. Some people may like this as you can take it home and eat it with bread or rice. It also comes with fresh veggies, pickles, and pita. I think it would have been better if there was more rice to eat the meat with as I mainly used the pita for my hummus, and barely had any rice left for the meat.

In my opinion, the chicken kabob was better than the mixed shawarma which tasted dry and didn’t seem too fresh.

Veggie grape leaves taste like dirt and they got our order wrong and I was the only one there… not even worth it to get it replaced, I just won’t go back.

Portions were large. However, chicken and gyro meat was dry. Tahini had to much lemon, tzatziki was spicy and hummus was bland. I don't plan on returning. I had a Groupon. That is why I tried it.

Ordered kabobs, but was served some kind of plate meal that was cheaper, but I was charged for kabobs. The food was not very good. Definately will not go back.

It was all fine and dandy until I found not one, not two but 4 French fries rolled in my sharwarma.if I wanted French fries, I would of ordered them. You got 2 stars only because your sauce is good.

Great food. Expect a bit of a wait even if you're ordering take out. It's always busy but so delicious.

It was amazing flavor. It really tasted authentic. Great family atmosphere very friendly workers. Highly recommend this place.

My favorite place in Toledo for Gyros, Hummus, and Falafel. Very affordable, friendly staff, an the prices are crazy low.

Probably one of the worst places. Can't put less than One star. If I could, I would give that. Quality has decreased totally.

Lamb gyros were extremely delicious, clean restaurant, and very nice employees! I highly recommend this restaurant!

I used groupon to buy some food from here. The food quality i give maximum 3.had to wait 20 min to be ready for a shawerma plate

Ordered the Beef Kabobs. Dry, tough, flavorless waste of $12. Literally fed it to my dog. I should have known better as this was my second visit. Never again.
To many other quality restaurants to choose from in this area.

HORRIBLE customer service. I was told to wait 20 mins for my sandwich, I came in half an hour later, and the man claimed he "didn't know" about my order. They claimed it was a "busy day" but the shop was literally empty. After this, the man had the audacity to serve the people who came after me before he served me. Extremely disrespectful. They provided me no compensation for my time wasted, even after I called them. Never going there again.

This place is incredible! Just smashed a beef shawarma wrap and was very pleased. Great food.great service.and excellent prices! Will definitely be back!

Muhammad was who helped me out today and he was absolutely phenomenal! The staff (and obviously the food) is always wonderful. Muhammads service was quick (i placed a to go order but) - if he made my food as well, he did a stellar job! Go to shawarmaholic! Best falafel and cod sandwich in town.
