Shivers Ice Cream reviews
20Stopped in for a break off the toll road and were pleased with the customer service and variety! Great quality, we'll be back if we are in the area again.
Get the real fruit shake. Knocked my socks off and the young ladies working were super bright and polite
A nice establishment with great ice cream. Rating two stars only because the chicken sandwich I ordered was frozen. Any person preparing that would have known it wasn’t cooked (felt like an ice cube on a bun thankfully I didn’t snap my tooth) …
Wide variety of soft serve flavors. Southwyck is lucky to have a place like this for a neighborhood ice cream spot. They also host food trucks here!
Easily the best ice cream spot around. The owner works very hard to have a large selection. Also schedules food trucks on most week nights. Treats her employees and customers with respect.
Best Ice Cream Shop in South Toledo/Maumee Area. Friendly atmosphere they have a weekly food truck lineup this place rocks!
About any combination of ice cream and toppings you can think of, friendly crew serving it up. Covered picnic tables, vary well kept business.
Shivers is one of if not my favorite place for soft served ice cream in the maumee toledo area. So many flavors and toppings to choose from and prices haven't changed much. They can pretty much make anything from Sundays to soft serve or hard ice cream and ice slushies to milk shakes. I've been going there for years and will continue to give them my business.
Excellent prices, willing to make your customer designed sundae, can make "brain freezes" out of their 40+ flavors of soft serve. Small family owned business.
Good selection, they have a "nut friendly" machine for those with allergies. Good prices.
They have vegan ice cream! Thanks for much Shivers, I'll be coming back a lot now that I know. Please keep it in stock:)
It's the end of a brutal week and I decided I deserved a treat. Shivers and Beastro Burger - what could be better? And because I survived this week, I went really crazy and had dessert first - Shivers custom flavors sounded good, so I chose blood orange ice cream while I waited for my burger. Yumm-mmy!
Very good and smooth soft serve. The 30+ flavors is mind boggling. You can order multiple flavors in your cone or cup so you can be creative with your combinations. The servers were friendly and fast with the orders. The prices are very reasonable too. We'll be back.
I ordered something off the menu and they had no problem making it. They were very fast and friendly
Went to get ice cream and was told there where no strawberries.kind of hard to get a strawberry sundae. Ruined my night.
Nice neighborhood ice cream shop. Nice selection of items to choose from and a big variety of flavors for their ice cream. Only drawback is that they need more than 1 worker or 2 to speed up service, orders, lines so waits are not so long.
Paid 11 something for 3 small ice creams 2 hot fudge with whip cream 1 with sprinkles and a small cotton candy with sprinkles. Completely messed up my order and I did not want to argue and hold up the line. Guess they was too busy to pay attention!
My Family loves shivers. Always has a variety of soft serve flavors and the ice-cream NEVER has a dirty machine taste like other places sometime have. Always a plus. New flavors have been added this year, our kids are excited to try them all.
The girls working were super friendly and helpful, but the 2 shakes I ordered were very disappointing. Couldn't taste the coffee or cheesecake flavors at all. I even had my mom taste them when I got home and she said they just tasted like vanilla. I've been to Shivers only a handful of times over the past few years, as I don't live in Toledo anymore, but I don't remember ever being this disappointed in the past so hopefully it was just a bad day.
