Restaurant Skyline Chili reviews
21The skyline was excellent and the staff member that waited on us was wonderful. We had three ways Coney's and a burrito and all were perfect as always
Good place; great food. Some "special" menu items that are amazing. Make this Skyline your dive!
I'm newer to this area, have gone to the drive thru only a few times, and always around lunch hours. Although the individuals working the drive thru are very very nice and efficient, I have to say I've found that the cheese coneys I always order are barely ever warm.much less hot. Also, a couple of times, bits of the buns have been hard. I'm a Skyline fan from WAY back, and ask very little from it outside of it being HOT. It's just not as good when it's not.
First rate food and service at this location. This is one of those rare places where being a regular makes you feel like family.
Very cozy place and very very friendly staff. Best one I have been to! Even better then the original one in Clifton! Maybe because it's a newer one.
Who said I hated skyline food always good, good Waste uses um family time they all like to get a skyline what more can you ask
If you don't like skyline you don't like chilli and probably don't like Cincinnati. This one is right next to Crosleys sports bar, so win win
I have been to many, many, Skylines, and this one is one of the best. The boy, no - man, making my Coneys was obsessed, watching him puff up the shredded cheddar between his hands was like watching Michelangelo fill his palette before painting the Sistine Chapel. The wiener was perfectly cooked, the bun perfectly steamed, the chili was perfectly sloppy. I sat and pondered my existence as I drowned the dog in hot sauce from the full container, and the first bite was pure bliss.
Thank you Coney Man, thank you Skyline of St. Bernard.
Of you're from Cincinnati you'll love this, if you're not.heres the dumbed down description: watered down soup chili made with chocolate and cinnamon. Placed over noodles taken from a plastic 5 gallon bucket and smothered with a pound of fake orange cheese.
The place was very dirty there was food all over the floor and the booths look like they had months worth of food on the table legs and white crud on the side of the booths it was very nasty and they didn't have any sweet or unsweet tea! I will never go there again
Been coming to this particular location since I was a kid. It's more or less stayed the same which makes it a nice and quant skyline experience. Extremely clean, attentive staff, and amazing food as always!
Nice skyline tucked away in the plaza, has more of a family mom and pop restaurant feel in this location. I liked it and the service was excellent!
I was in Cincy for only three meals, and one of them just had to be Skyline! It was just as I remembered from my childhood - no way to describe it other than "different than any other chili anywhere, and good! " Order the regular 5 way - trust me!
If you come when Jared is making the food it is excelent. He puts extra amouts of cheese and food together for you
This is my favorite food. It's not for everyone, but if you haven't tried Cincinnati style chili, its wonderful. Try not to expect what you normally consider chili, it's more like spaghetti sauce in consistancy. That said, skyline is the best Cincinnati chili place!
Mushy spaghetti and old sauce couldn't eat threw away way overpriced I will never eat there again I will go to grocery store and buy it I used to love skyline but there's was gross
We eat at Skyline locations all over the city and the St. Bernard location has what I think is the best tasting chili and noodles cooked to perfection.
Tony and his crew do an excellent job.
The building looks a little deceiving at first, and its really small, but it's a great friendly little neighborhood skyline.
They've almost always got a game on the TV and the people that work there are awesome! They are always nice and chatty, and know just when to check back and when to go away. It's great later on in the evening, and it's just really laid back.
Friendly crew but usually the restaurant is a bit dirty. I prefer the Norwood or Clifton Skyline.
Everyone said this is the place to go for Chili. I guess my taste buds just don't fit with their type of chili. My wife and I didn't like it. The place was crowded so clearly many others loved it. They give you crackers as an appetizer and have a decent selection of different ways of eating their chili. They also put a TON of cheese on everything.
