Slammers, Columbus OH

I really enjoy this bar but the food is just ok, pretty good if you only compare it to bar food. My biggest complaint is the lay out. It's really challenging to get a drink at the bar when they get busy.

Love the pizza and atmosphere! I frequently go to this bar and if you're an ally or a member of the LGBTQA+ community then you'll be feel right at home!

Great little stop along the way or even for the night out. Had their pickle pizza, which at first I was very weary of. Turns out it is fantastic.

When I went in 4 years ago, I had no idea it was a lesbian bar. I just ordered a Pizza, and left. The service was good. I went in because I was at a business nearby and saw the pizza sign. Good pizza.

Had a great time here. Never been to a lesbian run bar, but what a refreshing change to the places I love like Union Cafe. Way more of a classic bar feel with some flare. Not only was the staff amazing and friendly, but it was also "Twilight" Tuesday. And who ever said pickles don't belong on pizza. The white pickle pizza was absolutely amazing. What a great place. I'll be back soon.

Mu forst time in and it was a great experience. I go to district west next door a lot and have been wanting to stop in Slammers for a while but I think they close earlier (12). Tonight was Sunday night kareoke. They have trivia on Wednesdays and Thursdays as well. I love bars with activities. It's under a lesbian bar and the atmosphere and servers were really nice. They have a good selection of cocktails, liquor and draft beer. They even have rumplementz (my favorite!). The pizza was perfect! They come in two sizes, 14" and 16" I believe, about $14 & $16? Literally no complaints on taste. Will come back to try

We tried the vegetable quesadillas. They were delicious. The serving was twice the size we expected for the price. We had ordered 2, but had a whole order to take home with us. I had a mule, which was excellent. My date had the pumpkin ale, which had just the right amount of spice. The music was sensational, an all women's band called Wednesday Wine. Slammer's is a place where everyone can feel comfortable. The dance floor is small, but it was adequate. After my experience at Slammer's, I'm thinking of moving to Columbus, or at least spending a few months there every Summer.

Fun place to grab a bite and a drink. Pizza was good and they had a decent selection of beers.

This isn't about the food but about the awesome people who work there. You've restored my faith in humanity! I played a music gig and lost my phone/wallet. The cleaning crew found it and returned it with all cash and credit cards intact! OMG, who does that anymore? ! Your staff is awesome! Pizza is like, REALLY good too!

I've been to many lesbian bars (as I'm going on a trip to see all of them), and I cannot say that this is one of the better ones. To me, the karaoke in the next room was too loud, and the place was too cramped. I ordered food and had to wait 40 to 60 minutes for it. It was actually decently good food, but Slammers apparently prioritizes getting drinks served quickly more than getting food served quickly, which I think is an *understandable* approach but ultimately not fitting for a place that markets itself as a pizza restaurant primarily. Obviously, this place is popular with the locals, and I hope it continues to be in business for a long time, but for me *personally*, it could have been better. If I were to come again (which I am not opposed to), I would definitely come early, and on a day that's not as busy as Saturday. Best of luck to the Slammers team.

Yummy pizza, fun drinks.

Walked in, not busy, waited for 10 minutes at a table without being greeted or having orders taken. Bar tenders too busy taking shots with other patrons to care. Walked out.

The very best bar! The pizza is always fantastic and the bartenders are friendly. They have great weekly drink menus and host great events.

Madi! Is amazing! Can’t say enough good things! She always is so attentive and just genuinely cares about everyone’s experience.

So many DUI’s are caused by this place. They over serve as if it makes them more money, allow toxic sometimes violent behavior, and choose who they give decent service to. The wings are boiled and gross. The only good food item is the white pizza and even that is not worth the risk of doing any type of business with this place.

The neighborhood bar with big outdoor patio. It's been a favorite for years. We love supporting LGTBQ+ businesses. Great pizza, subs and full bar service for "all walks one groove"
