Sleep Inn & Suites, Port Clinton OH

The rooms are older but our room was clean.there was a mix up with our reservation so the first night we were in a room with two doubke beds.the room was nice the beds were NOT comfortable at all the pillows were horrible the TV is very small. But we were moved to the KING room oh sooo much better.oh the pool was nice and clean and we had it all to ourselves.talk about peaceful.the staff was kind and if it had NOT been off season there would have been ao much more to do.but we enjoyed ourselves we would return!

Stayed here for 2 nights before headed up to Detroit for work.
1st night was super quiet and we slept pretty well.
2nd night we had people above us walking all around for 2 hrs between 8 pm and 10 pm.
The front desk took care of it and didn't hear a peep afterwards.
Rooms were comfortable and I love a bed that is super comfy; this place has that!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this Sleep Inn very much! Rooms were clean, spacious, and staff were friendly and accommodating! Breakfast was delicious and pool was clean also! We were only 15 to 20 minutes from Cedar Point! Highly recommended!

Clean, quiet, close to things to do. Average rooms. Modest decor. Front desk was very friendly and helpful.

Nothing special, rooms updated, beds so so, we had a microwave and fridge, our friends across the hall did not. They still paid same rate. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, good muffins, yogurt etc. Location was corner of two busy roads.not too far from the lake. No outside seating area. Paid $157, King bed on Friday. Good location if you are out exploring

Rooms weren't cleaned well.hairs in shower, dust balls on floor & neither of our rooms coffee makers worked. One spilled water everywhere. The other simply wouldn't work at all. We killed 3 spiders in 1 room alone. The pool was not very clean either. The microwave in the lobby didn't work & was told to heat the food up in our rooms. (Thank goodness one of our rooms had a microwave -the other didn't at all) We asked for extra pillows & never received. The pull out couch didn't have blankets or sheets available for it. We never received those either. For the money we paid for the rooms - this is truly unacceptable. Oh and the front desk phone was constantly busy for hours. We had to walk down to ask for anything - & they were NOT on the phone.

Had you read my review in it's complete entirety, you would see that I called the front desk many times and had to walk down to the front desk. We were brushed off many times. Also told there was only 1 other room available and we had to pay for it. Which we did, only to find that was the one w no microwave. I truly hope you don't respond to all your guests in this manner & brush them off. I tried to get help from staff and received the same courtesy as you, the owner, have shown in your response.
The staff did not clean the room, the staff did not respond to our requests, the staff did not resolve any issues. This was plain unsatisfactory customer service.

I have stayed at this hotel for the past two years for girls trips. Will continue to book my rooms here and would recommend to anyone. Breakfast is great. Coffee is delicious. Very nice friendly service. Wonderful clean rooms and facility. And the clean pool is a nice bonus
Pricing is also very reasonable.

This is a clean place, and the counter staff is friendly and helpful.
The bathroom in the room is a bit small, but it serves its purpose I suppose.
They provide a breakfast. The eggs were a bit "meh", but it was breakfast and it got our day started nicely.
I will be staying here again.

Entrance looked promising. Pleasant receptionists. Room is spacious. TV too small for the suite. Little entryway to the bathroom so it gave some privacy for changing. The shower is so tiny. Kinda ridiculous. Double beds NOT queen. Not too happy with that. Not the most comfortable either. Very lumpy. Fan goes on and off. Not soundproof in any way. Hear thuds and stomps from neighbors. Train horn all hours of the night. Good breakfast. Eggs, sausage, cereal, muffins, bagels, etc. Waffle maker. Most excellent coffee. Great hostess. Great location. The bedsheet on the sofa bed was dirty. The space for a family of five is amazing tho. Not crowded. The pool is small. Wish there was a hot tub. Lights flickered. Washer and dryer were close to our room which was awesome. The elevator doors open before the car actually stops. Restaurants close early in Port Clinton so I'd eat in Sandusky. Better options too.

My daughter and her boyfriend checked in to this place tonight. Room was small and bathroom/shower even smaller for the price they were paying. That they could have dealt with though. But being on the first floor and having a man knock on their window and wave in at them was not good. Spoke to staff about it as they were going to leave here and go somewhere else. My daughters card was charged immediately for the room but when they asked for a refund was told it could take up to 10 days. Unacceptable. Tried to speak to manager about it and was rudely told by the ladies at the front desk that they could not do so until next morning. Our mistake was to not notice that this was a 2 star hotel before we made reservation. Never again!

We only needed to stay one night and we called many hotels around the area and they all required two nights. This was the only place that could accommodate us and the employees were very nice, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. My only complaint is that the pool was pretty chilly and a hot tub would have been nice but, these are nit picking issues. Would recommend.

Is a pretty nice hotel, nice pool, good breakfast. When I pulled out my sofa bed, there was a stain on the sheet. Wifi is not that very good. The Toilet take a long time to flush. People keep thumping in the hallway.

Rooms are very large, clean and the staff very helpful. Check in and check out was very quick and the breakfast was not bad. We stay here often when we come to the area. Highly recommend.
