Recently visited Smile Doctor for my orthodontic treatment, and it was an exceptional experience. The staff was friendly, and the orthodontist took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment plan, addressing all my questions and concerns. The clinic is well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment. I appreciate the professionalism and care received during my visit, making me confident in choosing SmileDoctors for my orthodontic needs.

You can get orthodontic work done here, however it is very impersonal service. Everyone is kind & polite, so kudos to the hygienists/technicians on that. However haven’t seen the same orthodontist twice in a row in a long time (6-9 months?). I attribute this to the cause of the frustration my son felt expecting to be finished with treatment at this immediate past appointment only to find out there was now a recommendation to continue with 2-3 months of aligners. This was after an appointment just 2 weeks ago where nothing of the sort was mentioned.

I had previously had another son go through braces here & it was a similar lackluster experience. He ended up with an abscess in his cheek because getting in for a wire to be fixed took 3 days and going across town. Calls were only answered by a generic call center and not someone who would do anything about the urgency of my concerns. Months ago I had asked about scheduling a consult for my daughter here when in person for a son’s appointment. The receptionist told me to call the general number, instead of scheduling it while I was standing there asking for it.

In summary: you can get results here, but the customer service is desperately lacking.

After almost two years with Smile Doctor and seeing multiple orthodontists within their practice, we love them all, and they remain the best! They always take the time to explain everything the do, they’re so friendly, they speak directly to my daughter. 10/10!

I wouldn’t recommend this Smile Doctors location to anyone, based on my personal experience. I initially started my treatment with Dr. Reed, who demonstrated knowledge and genuine care for his patients. However, my concerns arose when Dr. Dahye Joo took over the care at this location after a rough transition.

Dr. Joo's energy and positive attitude were commendable, but I became increasingly worried about her understanding of my complex case of impacted canines. After multiple appointments, I expressed my concerns about my canines coming in backwards, but I didn't receive a reassuring response. Instead, she brushed off my worries, saying, "don't worry, my friend, that's for me to worry about. "

Several visits later, Dr. Joo finally revealed that my teeth wouldn't be able to be fully corrected, suggesting veneers or a crown to make them look "normal. " This news was devastating, considering the investment of time, money, and the pain I endured with braces. Despite this, I remained convinced that my teeth could be properly realigned and conducted my own research.

After much consideration, I decided to transfer my treatment to another Smile Doctors office. I'm extremely grateful that I made this decision because the new orthodontist reassured me that my teeth could indeed be fixed, contrary to what Dr. Joo had claimed. My canines are almost de-rotated and into place.

I sincerely wish Dr. Joo took her patients and their concerns more seriously. As patients, we trust orthodontists to deliver the best possible treatment, and sadly, that trust was not upheld in my case. I hope this review serves as a cautionary note for others to thoroughly evaluate their orthodontic options and find a provider who genuinely prioritizes their patients' well-being and dental needs.

My recent visit left me thoroughly dissatisfied, and I cannot emphasize enough how disappointed I am with the entire experience. From start to finish, it was an ordeal that I would not wish upon anyone seeking dental care.

First and foremost, the receptionist's demeanor was far from welcoming. Instead of greeting patients with a friendly smile, I was met with a cold and indifferent attitude that made me feel like an inconvenience. It's disheartening when the first point of contact in a healthcare setting fails to create a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Moving on to the treatment itself, I found Dr. Smith to be less than competent. Not only did they seem disinterested in my concerns, but their lack of attention to detail was apparent throughout the procedure. The whole experience felt rushed, as if they were merely going through the motions without genuinely caring about the quality of their work.

To make matters worse, the billing process was a nightmare. Hidden charges and surprise fees seemed to be the order of the day. It felt like a blatant attempt to exploit patients financially, leaving me feeling both frustrated and deceived.

Horrible just horrible service if you’re looking to get your teeth done don’t ever think about going to this place, its not even about the money no more you’d be begging them to finish your treatment and pay more money on top of that and they still wont deliver my sister is literally suffering when she tries to eat just because of their selfishness and lack of work delivery.

In the last six months, the service has really gone downhill. It’s extremely hard to get appointments. When you have an appointment, they run 40-60 minutes late with no explanation or apology.

Over promise and under deliver. If you can get an appointment, even for simple molds to replace retainers, you may sit for 30 minutes past appointment time in lobby without communication. And then get told what was supposed to be ready that day won’t be ready for 2 days and then to call on day 3, since you were not called on day 2, and find out that now it will be 8 days from appointment to when retainers will be ready. Consider taking in less new patients if you can’t properly service existing patients. And communicate expectations better by under promising and over delivering. I’m glad that we are on the tail end of dealing with Smile Doctors.

Near impossible to schedule appointments. They won't see patients past 2 pm and even if you schedule 3 months out, no flexibility for kids in school.

I love this orthodontist office in Hilliard. Every orthodontist hee from Doctor Marshall to doctor Reed now doctor Jude. My whole family comes here and we love the staff!

Happy that this orthodontist office is close to my son's school, easy to get to and they are on time and efficient with appointments.
