Connie, the hygienist, was great— very thorough and gentle. The meeting with Dr Moore was short but I had good treatment from him. Overall I was happy with my first experience there.

I have gone to Smiley Dental for over 15 years. The office staff is very caring and attentive. Dr. Holowicki the best dentist ever.

Not comfortable with dentists so finally got up nerve after 6 yrs. On phone they promised cleaning. But a bait and switch. Upon arrival they never cleaned my teeth. Did their billable x-rays for my insurance then said “out of time” come in later for your cleaning. Never went back. If you make an appt here for x-rays they will get their cash from your insurance first and worry about your dental health at a future date

I had to bring my infant with me today and was nervous how a teeth cleaning would go with a baby. The staff was beyond helpful and even held my sweet girl while I got x-rays.

Amazing experience and wonderful staff. They were very personable. Kandie cleaned my teeth. She was sweet and took her time. She made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Beautiful clean building and such a wonderful experience.

5 years ago I would have gave them 5 stars. A lot has changed, and all for the worse. I wanted to share my horrible experience with Smiley Dental Group. Although the dentist did the drilling for my cavity, the hygienist filled it. I wasn’t aware that this wasn’t normal practice until I switched dentists. Three times in a row, the hygienist messed up the filling. It didn’t set properly, it turned gray, and the last time I got an infection. All on the same tooth. My new dentist said the infection was likely from the filling not being done properly. They sent me bills for all 3 times, even though it was their mistake. I had to take off work multiple times only to have the issue worsen under their care. This isn’t even half of it. The dentists at Smiley suggested I needed a root canal, after the infection caused by them got into my roots. Luckily, I got a second opinion, because my new dentist laughed at that suggestion. He said the root canal + crown would fail in 5 years, and I’ll have to get an extraction and implants, and the dentist knows that, but just wanted to get more money out of me instead of suggesting a more practical and permanent fix. I am so glad I got a second opinion because it would have cost me thousands of dollars and lots of pain/discomfort, so Smiley Dental Group could make more money off me.

I have filed a complaint with the board of medicine, I have switched dentists, and I have been fighting them on these bills sent to me for their mistakes. I recommend staying far away. Dr. Smiley isn’t even there anymore. The hygienists were rough and made my gums bleed (more than normal at a cleaning).

The care and helpfulness of my new hygienist and dentist is a breath of fresh air. The respect and honesty is something I never received at Smiley Dental Group. Very disappointed with this business. I don’t like leaving bad reviews, but hopefully this will save someone else from spending a lot of unnecessary money.

Everyone was very professional and so friendly. Sam Smiley’s Group has taken good care of our whole family’s dental needs for maybe thirty years. We all floss every night! I feel very relaxed during my teeth cleaning appointments and I actually look forward to them. We will miss Sam Smiley when he retires at the end of the year, however, Jeff Hollowicky will continue to provide excellent leadership for the Smiley Dental Group.

Everyone in the office is always timely, efficient and professional. I appreciate that they value my time.

My first dental appointment at Smiley Dentistry today was an amazing one with being welcomed by the most friendly receptionist and staff to having my teeth x-rayed and cleaned by the most caring and meticulous dental hygienist Stephanie to the dentist who checked everything over Dr. Moore! What a wonderful experience and professional practice! I will definitely be returning!

I have been a patient of this practice for 35 yrs. My entire family were patients here for many yrs. If u want to get the best dental care in the area, switch to my dentist, Dr Jeffrey Holowickie and his outstanding staff. Their equipment is updated regularly, the staff is well-trained and always friendly.
The office is beautiful. Of course, the dentistry is most impt. U will never be disappointed. My dentist was #1 in his dental class at OSU, just like his predecessor, Sam Smiley.
