Soccer Sportsplex reviews
18Went for a grappling tournament. Clean facilities, available seating. If you have to sit somewhere all day for a sporting event, it's not bad at all.
I've played here off and on for over 20 years. The fields could use some upgrades but the facilities are clean. For the most part the players are up for some physical play and I like that. No complaints and hopefully I'll keep playing here for another 20 years! There is a snack bar inside and 1 outdoor field that is used in the spring thru fall. It's a great place for all ages to play. I'm in my 40s so I like the exercise and competition.
Nice facility convenient to the highway. Concessions were available when we went. My only recommendation would be to clean the bleachers more often. Lots of spills and sticky spots limit the seating.
Im leaving 2 stars because the facility is average. 2nd year playing in their flag football league and their refs are more than mediocre. Don’t join this league, definitely not worth the almost $600 you’ll spend as a team. Save your money and go to the other league thats located in north olmsted. Better facility too.
Great food options and space looked smaller but in reality it was quite large and nice staff
Don’t waste your money on wall ball and grumpy old referees. I highly recommend Force instead.
Soccer Sportsplex is an excellent facility inside and out. They have three indoor fields that we have used to kick off our season. The only drawback are the walls that some newer facilities have designed out of their buildings. My daughter's club team recently rented time on their outdoor field and had an effective training session in March!
Visited? ? On a Saturday evening to watch my brother play flag football with his team. The building was simply amazing. It accommodates space for 2 simultaneous games. There’s a snack station to grab some eats conveniently between both sports fields. Definitely a great spot to book for your events with a good amount of people!
The soccer complex itself is fine. A no frills indoor setup with two pitches.
Edit: I stand corrected, there are three indoor pitches and an outdoor turf field!
I was there for the CCAG show a couple weeks ago and only saw the two that was housed on. That show didn't leave me with a great first impression, but the owner of the Sportsplex reaching out and inviting me back to check it out speaks volumes of them. I've bumped up my review to Four Stars, because me judging then based on someone running a show on their property isn't fair. Thank you for reaching out, and I will stop by the next time I'm in the area!
The soccer classes for my 4 and 6 year olds are wonderful. They really focus on building skills of dribbling and passing, which I think is most important at a young age. They get to have a scrimmage for fun at the end. The coaches are obviously very skilled at soccer and great teachers. It's also nice to have an indoor activity in the middle of the summer when it's so hot.
This is the second season that we play in a league. The facilities are great but our experience as a team are really frustrating. We're being discriminated by several referee and it has happened many times.
Expansive twin indoor fields with lockers, meeting rooms, clean restrooms and large snack bar. Very nice facility
Great place for soccer games! It is nice being so close to the field and players. The best part is The Cleveland Crunch are back! ️
I went here for a grappling tournament - good overall venue with plenty of space and a clean bathroom. The parking wasn't abundant enough and I had to drive around a lot, but otherwise good spot!
Great place for kids to learn different kind of sports for all season nice see their face light up with smile
Just started playing back at here due to NEO closing. I wish the outdoor field was a bit longer. Plus they need a score board and clock outdoors. It makes it more competitive when you can see the score. And not having a clock makes it difficult to know when to sub and when to turn up the tempo.
The indoor fields are so narrow too.
All in all I was NEO was still open.
I used to play in night leagues here when I was a kid, and now go once in a while with friends. This place has a friendly staff, is clean, and is a great place to have fun. It really is a cool facility. Renting a field can be a little pricey, but it's always a blast every time we go.
