16The absolute slowest service at any fast food place in the entire area. How is this place still open?
Service was very slow. The workers were not friendly, like we were interrupting their night by coming in. The food was cold and the drinks were watered down. Just awful! We will never go back.
Things have changed for the better!
We placed an order online, it notified us right away that they were out of onion rings. We were able to change our order! When we picked up our order we had several cheeseburgers, each with different toppings. We thought we would have to check each one to see the toppings. Nope! They had stickers on top to let us know which one was which! Awesome! So much easier! Fast, friendly, efficient service! Things are better at the Wilmington, Kettering Sonic!
Do not get their sonic blast, I went and got a sonic blast (Reece cup) It had only a couple sprinkles of Reece cup on top and the whole inside of it was hollow There was little to no candy in the whole thing. They ripped me off. Never again!
I love sonic. But this one is so slow used the app to order. Order cheese tots and maybe 4 of them actually had cheese. Half the food was cold. Last time I went I tried to pay with my chiped card. But supposedly they can't run chip cards? It's 2022 isn't everycard chipped? So figured using the app would be easier. Sat and waited for 20 mins while cars just drove through. Finally got frustrated and went through the drive through to be told they had to make aure they had a mobile order. This place needs updated bad.
Too expensive for fast food. This location has refused many orders because I don't drive. So I have to walk up. Now I go to skyline. Customer service is 100% Better. Sonic has terrible customer service. I don't understand why this store hasn't shut down yet.
Service was very slow on the drive through when I visited. Over 10 minutes in the drive through when I was the only car in line when I arrived.
Waited 40 min for 4 drinks. I watched someone from drive thru line turn my drinks back into the workers because they weren’t hers. (I knew they were mine, the exact thing was handed to me later) They gave them to me 20 min later and they were somewhat melted. I ordered & paid online so I couldn’t just leave, but other cars around me did. The girl that finally helped me had been on break and the other employees weren’t helping any of the stalls. Maybe short staffed but I will never come back. Kind of gross someone else touched my drinks and they were given to me I’m very positive they did not remake them due to the sweat and lack of ice in the cups
Tonight was the final straw for this sonic. First of all the order was wrong when we got it home (not the first time this has happened). It was also cold. It took 3 calls to get a hold of someone and the person I talked to said "ok do what do you want me to do". I am not happy. My husband is now on the way up to get a refund.
The attitude of the workers is disgusting. Several times my order was missing and they refused to remake it. They let you sit for about an hour before they even tell you they could never find your order to begin with. If I could give less than 1 star I would. Terrible way to run a buisness.
Normally food is hot and service is wonderful but the last time I went things did not go well at all. But I finally got a hold of the manager and he rectified the problem and I got my hot and juicy burger back. They really do have the best burgers in town as far as fast food goes. Making things to order makes all the difference in the world so you will be willing to pay a little bit more.
My husband and I placed an order on the app and went to pick it up. We waited in the car stall for several minutes after pressing the button and eventually went to the drive thru where we waited for another 30 minutes before someone even came on the speaker. By the time we got our food it was cold and it tasted awful.
Sat and waited to place my order, after placing it got told the total. When I went to pay it never showed up on the screen so I figured they would take payment from me when they came to the car. Waited long enough for the red light to go out, pressed it again and they asked for my order. I explained that I had already placed my order so they asked for the name on the order, I explained that they never asked me for my name, so they asked what stall I was in. After I responded I heard nothing back and after sitting for about another 5-10 minutes with no response I left. Hope this was just a one time mistake but not a great first impression for me.
Completely incompetent. They gave me a 3 piece chicken tender when I ordered and paid for a 5 piece…. And they didn’t give me my onion rings.
My first trip to Sonic in years!? Next time won't take as long! The grilled cheese burger was outstanding!
Every time I’ve been in the last six months service is incredibly slow. I’ve waited up to 10 minutes to order in the drive through line. Even when I’m one of two people there. Tried ordering ahead on the app, but unfortunately it made no difference. I gave them several tries but I’ll definitely go out of my way to go to other locations in the future.
