South India Cuisine reviews
15I found this place by accident and am so happy! The food is amazing—with lots of vegan options—and the owner is awesome. We didn’t know what to order and they put together a nice sampling, which was delicious. The price is very reasonable. Don’t miss the samosas—the sauces were really tasty too. This is our new go-to Indian spot.
I like eating vegetarian food and I don't complain about the small space.
The thing I didn't like is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Wish to see more clean floors. Best wishes to the owners
Indian food is my absolute favorite, but my exposure has always been northern India. This is the first time I tried southern India. I really liked it, but there are some pretty big differences from what I can tell: 1) Vegetarian 2) No heavy sauces 3) Spicier than usual.
I really didn't know what I was doing when I ordered, so the amount of food looked light, meaning I was not going to be full. I was pleasantly surprised at how full I got before finishing the food. It was delicious, and the owner was super friendly. I really felt welcomed (I'm not Indian).
I def recommend this place. There are a few tables to sit at, but this is generally a take out place.
Feb2023 update: Very less quantity of liquidy sambar.not comparable in experience with other restaurants.very poor seating - given the high prices, the value is very less.there is a compulsory tipping for dine in now.not going there ever.you are advised to avoid as well.

The person preparing the food was very considerate to avoid oil on the dosas, as requested. Tasty mint chutney. The bisibela bath was too liquidy. Snack packets are visibly smaller.
Food is grnerally delicious, with all sorts of interesting items. This time l got chickpea curry, mango rice, garlic bread, and carrot dessert. The rice was fantastic but not as yellow as the photo, with crunchy peanuts, can be eaten plain as a dish. Curry was more like a soup, and hearty but plain. Garlic bread was lndian flatbread with garlic and cilantro, good. Loved the carrot dessert. Restaurant is vegetarian.
The owners explain everything enthusiastically the first time you come in. Service a 4 due to a prominent tip chart and you don't get an itemized receipt. Fast service. I appreciate their enthusiasm about their food and this is on my top 5 restaurant list.
Nice south Indian food place run by Bangaloren. I'm happy to have interacted with this couple, food was really good and the hot upma was the best.
Manjula makes the best mithai in town! Jalebis, Gulab Jamuns, Ras malai. Nobody can beat her mithai!
My first time going there after seeing it almost everyday. The customer service was outstanding. He was very kind and made me and my siblings laugh. I ordered the Gulab Jamoom and the Mirchi Bajji, and it was outstanding. It was my first time trying south India food and I thought it was fantastic. Fast service and a very welcoming environment. 10/10 would recommend and I'm looking forward to going back.
Food was excellent. Authentic South Indian Bangaluru style. Satish and his wife who run the place were very polite and friendly.
Delicious food. Very attentive to vegan orders. One out of three orders was slightly mixed up. Good gluten-free options.
The person at the restaurant is good but the quality and taste is very bad. They should try cooking fresh. Overall great disappointment and don't recommend to anybody looking for Indian food in Cleveland.
Good looks good, but I'll never know. Extremely rude temperament and customer service! Likely will never be back. I will try Kayal Indian Takeout down the street instead.
Best South india food I ever ate in my life. Worth a visit. This is a Karnataka style restaurant. Do visit atleast 1/2 hr before time, as one person manages all. Worth the wait
Poor quality of food and people at the store don’t know how to talk to customers. They are rude and don’t expect fresh food from them. Ordered dosa and idli it smelled really bad. When you try to complaint them then all they say is we charge less for the food. If you guys think you charge low please go ahead and increase the prices and serve better quality.
