This college called for an attack on and Assasination of American citizens. Never send your kids here.
Just completed college here with my ADN. The nursing program is starting a new curriculum soon, but the program I completed was bass ackwards! I hope the new program works out better for the students considering we lost 40% of our class at the end of the 5th quarter. I would not recommend this nursing school to anyone! I would explore others options first!
I really enjoyed my time here at southern state, it's just like most other colleges. You'll have your hang ups but when it comes down to it, you are in control of your time here. With that being said however, it was hard to get some classes taken due to students not wanting to take a particular class at a given time. That can easily be avoided however if you just do an independent study.
Southern State goes along with the old saying "You get what you pay for. " They have a lot of "obstacles" set up in front of their Nursing programs. Serious lack of communication for such a small school and poor advising. Good luck completing either nursing program in under 3 or 4 years if your over 25. I would not recommend this school. Look elsewhere for Nursing if possible. Unless you have time and money to waste and a credit card. They also make their students wait for 6 weeks until they get their student loan money! They do not disburse funds until the fifth week after the start of the semester! What is a student supposed to do in the meantime? It's an asinine policy.

SSCC employs administrators that call for the assassination of American Citizens whose opinion they do not agree with. Isn't that nice? As of at least a few weeks ago, James Pierce called, at length and in detail, for the cold blooded murder of NRA officials. He also called for an orchestrated attack on more than one NRA office. I wonder what else he has in mind.
It's quite ironic. This "educator" that claims to be worried about the safety of others is recommending murder. Is this the type of person you want your children being lead by?
