Speak for the Unspoken, Grove City OH

We adopted our wonderful little boy, Arctic/ Turbo from speak. They were the best. They worked with me to find the right puppy and then Arctic's foster Mama, Pam, was amazing. I couldn't recommend a better rescue, especially for special needs pups.

So grateful for my little girl from Speak! The foster was amazing and the whole process was fantastic. I tell everyone about them!

We adopted our sweet deaf/partially blind pup from Speak! The foster mom to our Wall-E was so great and answered any questions I had. She even called me when I was feeling overwhelmed & nervous about having a deaf dog. Once we move to a larger home I want to apply to foster!

My husband and I adopted a pitty mix puppy from Speak! And they were amazing! Very supportive! What a great group!

I adopted from Speak for the Unspoken in 2014 and found great support as a first-time Deaf dog adopter. My girl and I recently celebrated 9 years of good times. I will look to Speak in the future when I'm planning to adopt again.

I have received 2 dogs from Speak, Wonderful people to work with.
They do great a job getting animals out of horrible situations.
They get them the needed medical attention and loving homes.

We absolutely love Speak for the Unspoken! From the moment we spoke to the Foster mom, met the puppy, went through the adoption process and finally picking up our Frank, the process was smooth, easy and professional.

The one thing I felt from the moment I spoke to the foster mom, Kaye, the puppies in her care were truly loved and cared for as if they were her own. That love and care helped make our Frank the sweet boy he is today.

After we adopted Frank, we went through the obedience training program at Speak’s Grove City location. This helped us learn how to properly train our pup and communicate with him since he’s deaf.

I highly recommend Speak for the Unspoken for fostering, adoption and training.

I adopted the best dog from Speak in February and I couldn't be happier! The whole process was smooth for both me and my pup and the staff has been fantastic. I can't recommend Speak enough!

Speak is an amazing group of volunteers that work hard to rescue pets in need and place them in the best fitting home possible. They are committed to helping pets of all abilities.

We adopted a puppy from this wonderful organization. The foster mom, Kelli was very professional and gave us a good background on our puppy. The fee is well worth it to have a healthy dog who was already spayed and up to date on her vaccines.

I really wanted to love this rescue. I was approved to adopt last year (the dog I was interested in got adopted before my application was processed). Months later I reached out about fostering with no response. The rescue earlier this year put out a plea on Instagram for fosters - I commented and said no one responded to me when I inquired about fostering. They told me to put in an application, I did. I had to reach out to Instagram again when the person processing my application wasn’t responding. I applied over 7 weeks ago, had my vet records checked and my references called and spoken to and…. Nothing. I just wanted to help and foster. I understand rescues are busy, I used to be a foster coordinator myself, but I would never let that much time pass without communicating to potential fosters. Really bummed. I hope they adjust the way they process applications so this doesn’t happen again.

Spoke with their foster in battle creek the day after I submitted my application to adopt. We spoke for an hour about the dog I wanted to adopt, sent her the vet records of our current dog and made the appointment to meet on Friday to pick up Melody. We were approved. Friday, where's the foster? No communication no change no nothing. And now the phone is "off" or I am blocked. What kind of organization? My paperwork was sent in as asked, we were approved by foster, we just want our dog!
