Gas Station Speedway reviews
4When I stop at Speedway it's because I need something. They are open late hours to handle whatever I need.
Lots of thought goes into this review as I am not the type to leave any negative feedback, and it’s been a few months since this happened but I can’t forget how this employee made me feel. I bought gift cards to get bonus points on my speedway card. However it was rang out incorrectly and I ended up with a card that I paid $25 for (bought 3 at the time) was empty. I saved the little tags with each card, and when I used the card I was told the gift tags didn’t match. However when I bought the card the guy had troubles making sure they worked. I attached the tags to each card immediately but I didn’t save receipt, just tags I thought were the receipt for each card. The cashier behind the counter when I tried to use the cards, was extremely blunt and rude and told me my tags didn’t match I had to have receipt. I asked for help and she showed me numbers on tags and receipts didn’t match but it’s all I had. So she told me to check the app for transactions with a snark, that just was uncalled for. I was just asking cause I didn’t know. When I got my app and shows her where I paid for the cards she told me that wasn’t good enough and that I spent the card and just probably didn’t remember. I totally remembered Mandy! This employee is rude, and uncaring. She belittled me in front of customers speaking loudly and uncaring. Her co worker whom I didn’t get her name gave me customer service number and Mandy, the red headed cashier, sharply spoke up again with egotistical attitude, “ they are gonna tell you the same thing”.
Good grief, I was now upset knowing I completely lost my $25 and Mandy, thanks for making a person feel like a thief. I get it, people are dishonest. But I was actually trying to be transparent and get help. Nonetheless I no longer am a speedway client at faircrest.
Wish they would have someone at the counter at all times especially in the evening. When you're on your way to work you shouldn't have to track down someone to check you out. Next time I'll toss money on the counter and they can figure out what I bought smh.
