Sport Clips Haircuts of Macedonia

So I went in and the stylist asked me what I wanted. I told her bald on sides and fade up. She asked if I just wanted it with clippers or super shaver. So I said as bald as possible. I go to pay and it was 33$ I said oh your haircuts went up. She then told me it's extra for the super shaver or balders what ever they're called. If I would've known I wouldn't have her do it. So I get home and the fade is all jacked up. Splotchy and hair behind my ears. She was only 19 and new which is okay, but another more experienced stylist should double check it. Second bad experience at Sportsclips Macedonia. I'll stick to Great clips or a Barber.

Skilled technicians. From out if state but she was skilled and able to give me what I wanted from my basic description. Also easy to talk to.

We signed in online. 13 minute wait. We got here and we’ve been waiting 45 minutes. No one has even acknowledged us. This place sucks.

Had a pretty horrible experience here recently. I had gone here before and it was pretty good, but this time was vastly different and I won’t be back.

Shelly was my stylist for this encounter.

I had asked for a haircut that was very low maintenance and showed a picture as an example of something I liked. The stylist started out by trying to tell me that my hair naturally wanted to go the opposite direction that it goes, and has gone my entire life. She proceeded to cut my hair and it was nothing like what I wanted and she forced it to go in the opposite direction of how it naturally lays. It was long so I asked for it to be cut shorter, as the picture I showed displayed a remarkably short haircut. She proceeded to take about a quarter inch off and it was still too long, so I asked again, very politely.

Apparently that was a mistake. Her next step was to angrily sigh, and aggressively pull her tools out again. She started by taking thinning shears to the right side of my head and began not so much cutting, but pulling my hair out of my head with them. It hurt. She did the same to the rest of my hair with normal scissors but didn’t even cut any length off, just proceeded to pull my hair out. She then grabbed her trimmer and proceeded to dig it into my neck in a few places, leaving scabs to form the next day. That too was painful.

At this point I just wanted out of there, so I paid and left. I even gave her a big tip because I felt as if I did something wrong somehow. What she left me with was a weird, almost undercut style of hair, with what I describe as a curtain of hair hanging down on the right side of my head.

I had to visit great clips the next day to get it fixed. I described this encounter with the stylist there, and she couldn’t believe what she was hearing. She told me she thought my hair was thinning on the right side of my head because she could see parts of my scalp. It wasn’t, sports clips had just yanked a bunch of hair out of my head. Thankfully great clips was able to salvage the abomination that I received from sports clips into something decent looking. Needless to say, I’ll be wearing a hat frequently for a couple months while my hair grows back thanks to this angry hair stylist who took her frustrations out on my head. I kind of wish I could be refunded for the whole thing but I’m sure that won’t happen now.

Stylist was great. As a walk-in, I had to wait for on-line appointments that were taken before me even though I was in store before them.

I have been getting my haircut at this barber shop for 17 years and I am still completely satisfied.

Ridiculously long wait and long time for a haircut. This location use to be great and efficient. In the last few months it's like they completely lost their wait. Forget their suggested arrival time. It will almost an hour later for them to see you. Then the cut will take forever. My suggested arrival time was 4: 00. That was AFTER a two hour wait. I walked out of the shop after my haircut at 5: 30. Oh, and to top it off the NBA playoffs were on, yet they had some meaningless college golf program on every TV. Enough said.

Sarah puts the MVP in Sports Clips. What a great person you have working for you! She was knowledgable about all your products and features, and very kind. Turned my day around.

Got my haircut by Diamond. She did an awesome job, and gave me a nice modern haircut. Would highly recommend going here, and getting your haircut by her!

I've never been to a Sports Clips, but this was a pleasant experience. Diamond was my stylist and I enjoyed her conversation while she did a great job on my hair. She also trimmed my ear hairs! I was appreciative of that. I recommend you ask for her when you go.
