SpringHill Suites by Marriott Dayton South/Miamisburg reviews
18Very nice suites with couch, desk, fridge, and coffee maker. Only con was had to take a cold shower a couple days. Bed was a little taste of heaven.
2nd shift employee was rude. 1st and 3rd shift were super pleasant and helpful. Hotel was clean.
The price of 99 dollars was absolutely worth I just expected more with it being the Marriott. As far as attention to detail. Nice rooms, truly amazing lady at the desk. However when we got there, we had problems with nit only 1 set of key's, but 2 set's. Then we had to switch room's because the door wouldn't work. Which was another 20 minute wait. Which wouldn't of been bar, but my husband who's a diabetic needed to eat, which he ended up having to do so while waiting in the hallway on the ground. As we were waiting for a bew room. And there was pubic hairs on the floor in the bathroom of the room we was just given that was supposed to of been clean. And there was no top covers on either bed. And I went down to get then from front desk, lady was super apologetic and so sweet.
Room had dirty towels and coffee pot at check in. Door knob only worked in one direction and the pool was under maintenance.
We just arrived and our room was filthy. Crumbs on the mattress of the pull out couch, pubic hair around the toilet, stains all over carpeting and dirt/mold in bathroom. I have stayed at hostels and lived in poor countries and people have more respect for cleanliness and upkeep. Won’t be staying here again. I must say, front desk staff was very nice, just disappointed and disgusted by lack of cleanliness.
Booked 2 nights for Father's Day weekend. This is our 2nd time staying here. This stay was good but a few issues/concerns.
1. The pool was closed for maintenance when we arrived however while booking on the phone that was the MAIN question I asked because my family wanted to swim. I was told the pool was open, however it was not. Disappointed
2. Not enough towels provided for the amount of guests (I had to ask for more)
3. Only 1 roll of toilet paper and no backup roll (I had to ask for another roll)
4. The ice machines were out of order on several floors (signs directed me to another floor and that one was broken too!)
5. Noisy kids during the night playing kickball was annoying.
Other than these, we enjoyed our stay and will return again+ All staff were friendly and courteous. Answered all of our questions we had. Rooms were clean and in tact. Lovely decor too!
Great location, close to food, shopping, movie theater. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast bar kept stocked. Clean rooms.
Really nice hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. A little hard to find based on how it is tucked in but use the Home Depot as a landmark.
Nice, clean, good breakfast, very friendly staff. If I come back ti this area, I'll definitely stay ge again.
Suites somewhat small for a SpringHill. Hotel is also at the bottom of a steep hill so it is hard to paek a trailer. Fitness center and breakfast are somewhat limited.
The location is great with lots to do/eat/shop nearby. The room is nice, but our AC doesn't seem to be cooling as much as it should. The breakfast is great.
I came here for a bridal product showing. I was shown products in one or the rooms on the main floor. It was very nice and clean.
Stayed 1 night for a concert at the Fraze Pavillion. Though not extensively renovated the room was clean and comfortable. Good coffee and friendly staff.
Bed's very uncomfortable. No guide for the TV. Come on when you want a piece of sasuage don't use fake cheap turkey.
The general manager Janelle Richard is a racist. I arrived for check in with my daughter to take her college unfortunately my reservation was wrong, she refused to accommodate us, was very loud while addressing me and pointed her finger in my face shouting there was nothing that could be done. I traveled 9.5 hrs from NYC. To say the least I was embarrassed. The hotel was filled with guest. The manager proceeded to share my situation with other guest checking in
Safe place to stay. Rooms were smaller than I expected, but still comfortable. Staff was very helpful and well trained.
Me and my folks were staying here for 2 nights and it was great. The staff were helpful and their breakfast was good. Kudos to the team here for allowing the whole district 11 Challenger League gang to stay here.
