St. Clairsville Public Library reviews
11This is a wonderful Library. Very quiet and relaxing and the staff has always been willing to help me when I asked. In fact many times they've approached me asking if I needed help. I've been to other libraries in the area but this one is the best.
The library blocks many websites and even some Youtube videos. Firearms are one of my hobbies, and most websites having to do with firearms and firearms supplies are blocked. Many websites dealing with blocked websites are also blocked. Censorship is practiced by St. Clairsville Public Library.
This is a fantastic library! It has a great assortment of books, periodicals, information, etc and is in a beautiful historic building in the heart of St Clairsville. They have also had several successful community outreach programs like the rail trail story walk. Kudos to the library for providing a strong reading base for the community! St Clairsville is setting the standard for how libraries can extend themselves and provide true value to their community!
I recently visited the St. Clairsville Library. What a beautifully kept, historical building! The staff was so friendly and helpful.
Old and outdated. Smells kind of musty too. All they have is a bunch of old people who work there and they don’t seem friendly. I’d go somewhere else that’s better.
Beautiful library located in downtown Saint Clairsville. They also take used books so if you have books you are looking to re-home, donate them to your local library!
Employees are very nice! But the director told me I could no longer visit the library and check out books if my wrist tattoo was not covered. How unprofessional.
Wonderful employees made to feel like their work ethic isn't good enough to keep their job.poor management.looks have nothing to do with the person HELPING me find the book I need.shameful
The staff is always so friendly and helpful- especially in the kids department! We walked out with a load of books to keep my young readers engaged!
Never a problem there. Employees are very cordial and helpful. Thirty minutes is a short opportunity to use the main computers, and the shut-down can zap you fast if you don't catch the warning. Misy other ones in the Ohio Valley give you an hour upfront, and then a few short added extension segments, if other people aren't waiting to get one.
