Stan's Northfield Bakery reviews
11Stopped in while visiting a friend who lives in the area. My son loved his donut. I went with a "Big Dupa". The thing was HUGE and AWESOME. Will absolutely be going back.
Went to Stan's for the first time today. I bought two Danish and a doughnut hoping they would last a couple of days. They were all gone with my first cup of coffee. I can't wait to go back. Friendly people and great selection.
Stans has the best bakery around an asset to the nordonia hills area. A landmark. Great family very nice people.
Fantastic donuts, outstanding customer service.
Would highly recommend this establishment.
Leslie did an amazing job on our gender reveal cake. It turned out perfect and everyone said it was delicious.
I stopped in Stan's yesterday to pickup some Paczki for fat Tuesday. I purchased 6 and almost fell to floor when I heard the price $16.50. OUCH that to me is a gouge! Had I known the price ahead of time I would not have bought them. They were good but definitely not $16.50 great. Service was super friendly and lines at 7: 00am moving along nicely. Next year I will be looking elsewhere for my fix.
Stan's knocked it outta the park again on Paczki Day. We got Bavarian creme, Strawberry, raspberry, chocolate and a Cassata. Wonderful!
I tried Stan’s Bakery for the first time on Saturday, December 17th. The overall experience was average and I would not recommend this bakery.
First, the good: I walked into Stan’s bakery which resides in an older strip mall. It is tight for space and was busy the day I visited. They answered all of my questions, guided me to my selections and were very attentive overall.
I ended up going with 3 lbs.of Christmas cookies and a nut roll. The cookies were on the smaller side so not sure how many were included but it was a lot.
The Christmas cookies were presented on a reusable plastic tray with stretch wrap and a bow on top. They were festive and a nice addition to our Christmas spread.
Now, the disappointing: for the cost, I expected a lot more from both the cookies and the nut roll. I spent about $88 (!) in total ($22/lb.for the cookies, $22 the nut roll) which seemed extremely pricey but if the items tasted great, I could have accepted it. The cookies were fresh but very plain both in decoration and in taste. There were 7-9 varieties but the only ones that stood out flavor wise were the snowballs and a nut cookie that I believe was toffee nut. The remainder were bland and tasted of sugar and flour. The nut roll was solid with a flaky outer layer and sweet taste. It also didn’t have a standout flavor and I was expecting chopped nuts in the filling but assume they were pulverized and mixed in.
Overall, a surprising experience. Stan’s looks to be a legit bakery that has been in business for a long time. But for the price I paid, I would have expected rich flavors and special decoration. That’s why I can’t understand the high marks on Google. Ahh well - lots of bakeries and confectioners in the sea!

Lots of baked good options - sweets and savory from doughnuts to dinner rolls. Good coffee too. Helpful and friendly staff. Definitely worth supporting!
I bought a pumpkin pie and it was awful - no flavor and the crust was mediocre. I won’t go back.
