Star Lanes Polaris reviews
17We went here on a week night for a date night and had a great time. The bowling is a little too pricey but the food and service are great. There were also a lot of arcade games. The place was very clean. For our appetizer we got the deep fried pickles. I ordered buffalo and bbq wings for my meal. Delicious. Will come back again!
Clean and well maintained, good arcade games and food. However, Holy cheese nips batman, it is EXPENSIVE. Nearly $100 for 4 people for 1.5 hours. A tad outrageous. Probably won't go again for that reason alone. But if you got money to blow
Apparently bowling is for rich people now. Sad that this place has become so overpriced, regular folks can’t afford it anymore. $50 for 60 minutes of bowling is insane. People don’t even make that in 2-3 hours of working.
We had our “after party” after our dinner reception on our wedding day at star lanes, they ended up putting us in the VIP room since we had such a large group, at no extra charge. They made our night so special and everyone had a great time! Thank you to Alyssa and the whole Star Lanes Staff for making our wedding night so fun!:)
We like star lanes. I take the boys there often. I would say everything is great except the food. Not the first time we get our food late and my son got a burnt burger. I think they are low on employees since orders take forever.
This is the WORST bowling alley I’ve ever been to! Couldn’t give it 0 stars. This is NOT for real bowlers. The approach is crooked, the lanes are warped, there is absolutely NO oil on the lanes, and our balls and shoes (all our own) got filthy and dirty/almost ruined. I will never go back and the price was DEFINITELY not worth it! It was $60 to bowl for 1 hour (barely got 1 game in) and wouldn’t pay $10 to bowl there. We talked to the manager and he thought we were joking about this not being bowling. He told us this is just a “casual bowling alley” and boy was he right about that. This is just a place to throw the balls and see what happens.
First time going this weekend the arcade was really nice but would give 5 star's but it's $55 a hr for a lane just crazy
It seemed very expensive to me.
To finish the 2nd game, I would have had to pay more.
Got food poisoning tonight at Star Lanes. Based upon my diet all day prior, the timing of symptom onset, etc, there is absolutely no doubt it was the Star Lanes meal. Also, washed hands thoroughly with soap immediately before eating and used hand sanitizer throughout the night. It was the food. I had Pepperoni pizza and fountain soda. After I got sick, I found, in Columbus Dispatch records online, that Star Lanes has had numerous health violations over the past 2-3 years for, among other things: using pizza sauce that is well passed the allowed shelf life for prepared food, storing some food at inadequate refrigerated temperatures, dirty/contaminated fountain drink nozzles, and not sanitizing the bar ware. It seems those things never got fixed. If you bowl or game here, do yourself a favor and eat and drink somewhere else.
Nice place for a quick family fun. The price is a bit above the average for bowling, but it's a comfortable location in a city center. Limited food options on site. The shoe rentals are not good.
This place isn’t cheap but it’s the best bowling alley I’ve ever been to. Laser bowling during the day with loud music, and food and drink offerings. Will definitely return.
The arcade seems massive but we didn’t go into it.
I had the best time last night (7/27) at Star Lanes. We have family in town from Hawaii, California and Florida and all met up for some fun. Ages ranged from 4-69 and we all had a blast!
The staff was amazing, helpful and kind. Our food server (Imani J) was patient and promt. The food was delicious and hot. We stayed all the way until closing and we didn't feel rushed to hurry and leave. We even had a phone that was left behind in the VR game that a staff brought to our group. Overall, it's definitely a family/large party friendly, establishment and we'll be back soon!
Loved this place and can hardly wait to return. Super clean, excellent (and gluten free) wings and fries. Service was excellent. This place also has an arcade.
Went here for a work event in the VIP room and had the best time ever. Bartenders were fast and KILLLING IT. They were under a lot of pressure but had the best customer service. Food was good.
It was a nice establishment that's 5 stars. I give it that. We was disappointed to have to pay 55/ hr just for a 4year to bowl. That is pointless for the price other bowling alleys you atleast get 2-3hrs, for that price. Beside the fact we drove from another state because of the hype this place is giving. Only reason they're getting a low rating.
A nice bowling alley and there was so many different activities to choose to do which is nice but Way to expensive.
It’s good. A bit pricey I would say especially on Weekends but this is a nice place to hangout and bowl. Food was decent.
