Turned in papers to revarify income and it never went through. Took papers in to the office and then got a letter saying I was removed from HEAP so I went in and was told they had my paperwork but they are taking 12 weeks to get to them (also would like to note thay both times I went in no one was in there waiting for appointments) I was told to call the appointment line to get my stuff seen sooner. I call the appointment line everyday and it always says all appointments are filled. After a few weeks of that I go in again (again no one was waiting for appointments) and was told to call the walk in number of Thursday and Fridays between 7am and 10am. I've been doing that and at 7: 03 I'm told "all our walkin appointments are filled" I'd lobe to know what the hell is going on if all their appointments are filled but no one's there!

I hope to get the help. My appointment isn't until september 27th. It took me 2 weeks of calling to get the appointment. I was up every night at midnight calling in. Ended up getting the appointment at 7am on a whim. I would pry give them 5 stars if it weren't for that. God, I hope they help me.

Well may I say how nice the people are there they are actually ADVOCATES for US. I never understood that but I'm sure it's ALot to work there but the people try their best. If you still need an appointment people starting showing up at 230am. I was 34 and I went at 6am. They only take 50 so I got real lucky. God Bless the Employees and the People needing the help.

Unbelievable that they don't have a better set up to get an appointment. You can literally call the hotline number for months and never get in!

They help people get H E A P. They help with housing call for availability. A lot of people has lost housing during this recession.

This place is a joke I’ve been trying to get an appointment since September to re-verify and when you call to make an appointment it says we are sorry but all of our appointments are filled same thing when you try to make an appointment online and because of this I got kicked off the PIPP PLUS program because you can’t make an appointment I’ve called in everyday of the week since September tried to go there and the sign on the door says they are closed are they even open anymore do they even help people I just don’t get why that’s all you get is appointments are full the online difference from years ago is at lease the phones not constantly busy but now you can’t make appointments very disappointed in this company.

Im surprised they are sitting at 4 stars. I’ve been trying to reverify since September but could not get an appointment. So they dropped me from Pipp because I didn’t reverify even though I could not get in. Recently went in for an appointment and the worker I have is very incompetent.

Every document she has asked for I have provided yet she keeps asking for more documents. Also what is the point of the zero income declaration if they are not going to accept that statement?

Medically I cannot work and have provided all of that information and the worker keeps saying they can’t take my word for it. Even with legal documents.

So even through I was just on Pipp 4mos ago I am given a hard time having to pay electric late and get cut off because this woman has claimed that since September the regulations have changed and she can’t approve what is already on file.

I’m ranting because to have medical conditions that are beyond my control and to have a worker give me such a hard time in the dead of winter where heat is needed is beyond inhumane.
