Stark County Wic Food Program reviews
2I was told to bring a birth certificate for my child, photo i.d, and proof of address. I have the note in my phone of where I wrote everything i needed to bring. Today I had my first WIC appointment in stark county and was absolutely appalled how I was treated. The old lady with the dark short gray hair that checked me in at the front desk was so rude. She went off on me because I didn't bring my medical card. I used to go to tuscarawas county WIC and never needed that, plus I was never told to bring it. She went off on me and said she did tell me what to bring I just wasn't paying attention. She blamed me for everything and said I need to reschedule because she can't do anything for me. She proceeded to give me more paperwork to continue my appointment. I told her it wasn't like this in tuscarawas county and she picked up the phone and called the tuscarawas county wic right in front of me and left a voicemail to call her back. She said she was going to prove me wrong that MY appointments in tuscarawas county did require my medical card because i'm lying. I'm so disgusted how she handled everything. Boomers today are so disrespectful it's astonishing that they are allowed to work customer service jobs. I don't know why this woman is working there after how she went off on me I did not deserve to be talked to like a dog. Please get rid of this woman, she should be in a nursing home not yelling at mothers in front of their children.
I’ve had a couple good experiences and a couple bad experiences. Sharon is always kind and funny. Overall It’s clean and the staff does their best to keep everyone safe and healthy.
