Starview Farm, Marshallville OH

Incredible, Friendly, Personal Care. A real treasure in Wayne County. I was lucky enough to find this facility when I was given the opportunity to purchase two retired Standardbred mares. A quick easy commute for me. Close enough to do daily trips, but far enough away to forget about the hustle and bustle of the city. The facility is incredibly peaceful, the perfect landing place for my girls to live out their twilight years.

The horses are turned out daily, hand-lead and flymasked or blanketed as needed (provide your own items, obviously). I elect to clean my own horse's stalls. There are wheelbarrows, shovels, and manure forks for boarders to use. All the stalls have rubber mats down, so cleaning up after my mares is actually really easy. Sawdust is provided too, all in easy reach of the stalls:) Thanks to the barn swallows there are essentially NO flies in the barn, which is incredible!

At the time of writing, they have 4 pastures (I think), an outdoor arena (that has some grass and is sometimes used as a turnout!) and a good sized indoor arena with good ventilation and lighting.which will also be great for the winter. The facility is very clean, well lit, well maintained.

The owners and barn crew are fantastic and friendly! Everyone there is passionate about their horses and brings their own unique experiences to the table. You won't find a skinny horse on the lot. They're well fed, plenty of hay and good grain. Shiny coats, healthy hoof growth. A total horse heaven!

My daughter boards her horse at Starview Farm and they both absolutely love it there. All of the staff are very friendly and very caring of the horses and the owners. I have never experienced anything other than peace and joy at this place when I've visited, and I have seen my daughter's horse (and my daughter) absolutely flourish under the care of everyone there. I would highly recommend Starview Farm as the place for anyone's horse among any other stables in the area.

My horse, Twister was Starview's very first boarder. He gets loved and taken care of just like he is part of the family. I would never want to board him any where else. Any time I am there I feel like I am at a family member's home. That is how close everyone is there. The owner's, Angie and Jeff are awesome!

Stay away from Starview Farms - they will not take care of your horses. I recently had a horse there that did not get the care that was promised. I tried to address this the owner Angie but she was very rude, disrespectful and denied any wrong doing. I promptly removed my horse and found another farm that knows what they're doing.

Out of all the places to board a horse, I chose to board my horse at Starview! I couldnt be any happier with my choice. Angie is the most caring person I know! Since I have border my horse there, he has been getting healthier and healthier everyday! I am very pleased with Starview!

Angie & Jeff are the best people I’ve ever met! My horse has never been this happy! Also for Dave, I’ve been feeding horses here for almost a year & I’ve NEVER heard of you! Very sad you’re bashing a place you have no clue about
