Staybridge Suites Columbus Polaris, an IHG Hotel

BELLA IS AN AMAZING FRONT DESK CLERK. SHE MADE EVERYTHING SO EAST TO CHECK IN AND OUT. ALSO DIRECTED ME TO TOPGOLF FOR OUR COMPANIES CHRISTMAS PARTY. THANK YOU BELLA

So far very nice. Problem with short toilets. Replace with tall ones. I do not like the foam topped mattress buy I am sure others do.

Slow internet, woken up by fire alarms, pool was closed for my almost 6 month stay. Worst of all I had Items stolen from my room. Staff is nice and they have free beer mon-wed night though.

OH.my. WORD! This is our new "go to" when in Columbus. We loved this place. Spacious, roomy suite- the bed was very comfortable for both of us. I fell asleep immediately. Excellent breakfast, Covid safe; outstanding, friendly service. Sent maintenance to our room upon request. A most enjoyable experience from beginning to end. We are trying to come up with reasons to return this week. Thank you, Staci and Amy for helping make our stay a memorable one.

My must stay place whenever I'm in the Columbus area. Staff treats you like family.

From parking lot to the room bathroom, this place is clean!

I'm critical of the places I stay away from home.but, this place has never given me a reason to be harsh or critical.

This one of the best Hotels i have ever been.
The rooms are big with a full kitchen, couch and more.
The gym is for free with your roomcard. The have good specials like free beer/wine and snacks.

Pet friendly, good hot breakfast changes daily, quiet, outdoor grill area that is fenced in. Pool has been closed due to a fire.

The Hotel itself was wonderful, the room was great! The shower was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable!
I did have to go and purchase eating utensils because our room had one fork and two mismatched teaspoons for two people?

However, the Front Desk staff leaves a bad taste in my mind. They are not personable or friendly at all. Their mannerisms are very robotic at best, but what can I say it's a matter of proper training in working with the public. In spite of those things mentioned, I would stay here again.

. The IHG reservation call center screwed up my reservation and had it under a different location.front desk staff at this location (Columbus) was insincere and confrontational and stated it was my problem and gave me the phone number to their incompetent call center.for me to correct.
I will not use an IHG Staybridge hotel in the future.they have forgot who the guest is.

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary and let me tell you that the stay was unpleasant. I will be posting a pic of the nasty bathroom in my room which was disgusting. There was mold everywhere. Didn't do anything last year because of Covid and this is what we get? The staff was rude at counter and I had to yell to get anyone to help me. Then the lady at the counter tried to go in my room without my permission? Not sure what's up with that. Said she would just go in and collect my old keys after switching us to another room (that was dirty as well). I said NO! I more than capable to bring them back down. Also online never spoke about the pool being down and another security deposit at the counter? I will share my experience to everyone I know and meet.

We went to The Ohio State game and stayed here for one night. Great breakfast, fitness room and location. Comfy and clean rooms. Nice patio. Well i did have a five star review we stay at many IHG hotels my husband just let me know this time we used our points. They double charged our card 40$ so my husband calls just to let them know, and who ever answered the phone was very rude. We would have for sure stayed again but i don’t deal with rude people those type of people need to find a NON customer service job. The lady having a bad day, her name is Amy.

This was our first time staying here and we were extremely happy. Everything about the hotel was great: cleanliness, room size, location, staff and breakfast. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Extremely unprofessional. We had to call and go into the front desk on three separate occasions to extend our stay. Each time they assured that it was done. That morning they asked if we were ready to check out? The hotel itself was okay, but certain members of their staff embarrass the place

Overall the stay was ok.

Pros- Location, reception clerk was nice.

Cons-The cleaning staff needs work on cleanliness as 11/12 pillows in our two bedroom room had drool (or God knows what) stains underneath the pillow cases, gross. Yep I’m that kind of person to check. The walls and ceilings are a little thin as we heard our neighbors above and on the side of us. There was considerable noise from highway traffic.

Overall it was average and not worth the cost, would not stay again.

So far ok but I would like to have more than news channels and HBO.

Or streaming service TV's.

Not hard to do since WiFi is available.

Very nice large rooms. Comfortable beds and full kitchen except for no oven. Close to shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff and good daily breakfast.

Loved the place, nice big rooms, good amenities. Walking distance from a few fast food places. Good location for a stop on your way

We arrived at Staybridge Suites in Polaris at 6pm to check into 2BR/2BA suite that I had booked through Expedia. They informed me they had a room with 2 double beds, 1 bath for me. They blamed Expedia for overbooking and disclaimed any responsibility and kept saying it was the third party's fault. They told me they did not have a phone number to let me know before I arrived (because Expedia did not give them my contact info), and I told them that was untrue because the hotel called me the morning before to tell me the pool was under construction. I played that voicemail for them and they acknowledged that was a hotel employee and then made other excuses. No manager was available to talk to me. They offered a room discount but didn't seem to care that I didn't have the separate bed and bath layout I needed for two separate families. Don't ever count on getting the type of room you booked or being informed prior to arrival if there's a problem. I was there with desk staff just saying I could leave, or take what they had. This hotel seemed to make a decision that it wasn't a big deal to give us a different, inadequate room. We also chose this hotel because of the pool and advertised hot breakfast buffet. The pool is inoperable and the breakfast was the worst we have ever had at any hotel. A women who seemed to be homeless was using the hotel restroom for brushing teeth/washing and followed us in the parking lot and wouldn't leave us alone. Do not stay here. Poor management.
