Steak 'n Shake, Canton OH

Not all steak n shake are the same this one is by far the worst one I've had. Online order was 15 mins late from their pick up time. The burger was dry and cold, the grill cheese was cold and not even toasted. Very disappointing

Ordered food online last Saturday. Order confirmation received. Pulled up to a sign stating they are currently closed Saturday and Sunday. What a bummer.

This is the WORST POSSIBLE restaurant! Staff is terribly rude, unorganized and terrible customer service. We ordered lunch for our students at school and the restaurant was supposed to bring the catering order to our school and when we called in the morning they said they didn't have enough staff and they didn't care about the kids receiving their meals! Who doesn't care about kids? OMG I could not believe MIKAILY (MANAGER) response! If you care about kids, don't go to this restaurant because they don't!

Always delicious food, but some of the most rude and slow working employees I’ve ever seen. Every time I go through the drive through it takes me 15-20 minutes and once I finally get to the window I’m told to pull up into a different parking spot to wait 5 more minutes. The workers barely look at customers and instead are talking to one another. Not sure if I’ll be going to this location again anytime soon.

We went through the drive-thru and ordered french fries and sides of cheese sauce the cheese sauce containers were filled 1/3 of the cup.

The manager was amazing she actually talked to us in the Drive-Thru I wish she could find some people to work for her that's dependable definitely we'll go there every time they're open

Awful experience. Over half an hour in line, the bulk of that for them to start taking our order then made us wait 20 minutes after ordering one item. Literally! Then forgot part of the order and completely messed up half of what they actually gave us. Absolutely garbage service.

The burgers I ordered were cold and the lady at the window did not give me the fries that came with my order after telling me that we got fries in the bag.

Food was great.but now the Canton, Oh Steak & Shake won't allow you to pay using the Steak & Shake App? So how do you go about using preloaded funds? They had no idea.smh

Management at this location is very terrifying to work for. Treating a teenager with asperger syndrome and customers very rudely. Told the teenager that he was going to kill the said teenager with his registered hands next timehe worked. Also cussed out customers at the same time. Then the "owner" called said teens mom and fired the teenager because he was an issue at the store. When talking to corporate said teens mom found out that this isn't the only major issue that this restaurant is being investigated for. To know this teenager he has come a long way in life that he is able to hold a job and his temper. Please do not support this establishment.

Don’t believe it was intentional, but had a couple tiny pieces of onion in my milkshake. Ruined the whole meal.

My families dine out experience was terrible. 3 shakes, 3 frisco burgers and a sprite was almost 30. Dollars. The sandwiches were really greasy and disgusting. The shakes were good, but the price was ridiculous. I hope this review gets read by a lot of people.

7/20/21 Update, and I'm afraid it's not good news. I tried doing a mobile order, as I had a lunchtime appointment nearby and thought "Perfect - I can schedule this to pick up on my way back to the office. " The ease of ordering was fine. What wasn't so fine is that my appointment was over with early, so I showed up to the Steak 'n Shake too soon. The place was open, but empty. Nothing on the grill, no one waiting for food. Yet no one would make my order. I asked the grill cook. I asked the guy in the drive through area. I asked them to check with the manager. All said 'no', that they 'couldn't' make the order until it showed up on their screens, even though I had the order and payment confirmation in my hand. I even tried calling the corporate number displayed on a (lying) sign that indicated "Satisfaction Guaranteed. We are fanatical about providing exceptional service. We welcome your suggestions. " Lying liar-faces, there is only a recording indicating that their offices are 'currently unavailable' and hangs up. So I waited, and waited, and waited. I even tried to click 'cancel order' on my confirmation screen, as I'd already been there for 20 mins. I couldn't simply leave, as I'd prepaid. Finally 12: 15 came - AND STILL NO ORDER ON THEIR SCREENS! An official looking woman in professional clothing came up to the front - not to see me specifically, but in the middle of something else. She asked if she could help me, and I explained what had been going on. She directed the staff to prepare my order, which they somehow could miraculously perform, and she also apologized. There's really no apologizing for this clusterf*** of a lunchtime experience, but I appreciate her doing so.

YOU decide if Steak 'n Shake is worth your time, money, and patience. Not me, never again. See photos. You want to know why even 2 stars? Because the food is good. It just shouldn't be so hard to get.

June 2020: This location won't be open much longer. I work very close by, and thought I'd be a good neighbor and support them when everything started closing down. I ordered by phone, and told them I'd be leaving as soon as I hung up. One traffic light later, I was in line behind two cars at the drive through. SEVENTEEN MINUTES LATER, no joke, I finally got to the window and was handed a bag containing my cold fries and stiff cheeseburger. When I asked the gal what I could have done differently to get my food hot and fresh, she gave me an attitude and snapped "there's only two of us in here! " which is an incredibly dumb decision on the part of the ownership. So, see ya, Steak n Shake. I'll miss your food, but I won't miss YOU.

Got carry out for the first time and it was pretty good. Their garlic steak burger was fantastic and I got a chili 5way. The spaghetti wasn't overcooked and the flavor was surprising but overall good. Can't wait until they reopen as a sit down restaurant. I really miss late night burgers and milkshakes!

The fries are tiny and they gave me one thing of Ranch for a large chicken. Besides that, its good.:)

Not a fan of new counter service business model with ordering kiosks. Not worth the drive for me. Better food and service at Dairy Queen.

The food was terrible, was there for over an hour and a half just for hamburgers and fries, it was horrible food and the service was also terrible, only came to our table 4 times and that's including me flagging her down to get refills and napkins and there was only 9 people in the whole restaurant its just terrible
