Sterling K9 Retreat, Westerville OH

We're very happy with Sterling K-9. The staff is so friendly and easy to communicate with. We use their app to schedule her visits and they are always fast to respond. I also picked this location because it's right at the Cleveland Ave and 270 exit. So my husband can easily drop her off and head to his office downtown without adding much time to his commute.

My puppy always has such a great time and comes home tuckered out. She's much calmer for a couple days. She goes twice a week and although she usually sees different dogs, she makes friends every time. We get photos and/or videos of our pup every visit. All the dogs are so well behaved with each other. I think the initial assessment really helps to make sure only dogs appropriate for daycare are present. I don't have any safety concerns for my dog. If/ when we need to board our dog, she'll be here.

I haven't used the grooming service but it is so convenient that it can be done while she's at daycare. It's one less thing to think about and try to make time for.

Highly recommend Sterling over any other care facility out there. They have been amazing with our girls and provide a SAFE and FUN environment for them to learn and thrive while we are away. The enrichment-based business model is top notch and I finally feel like we found our go-to place that we can trust for boarding. My husband and I have 2 Yorkie puppies both 4 months old and wanted to find a daycare with a variety of things available such as potty training and socialisation and we found Sterling K9 Retreat and we couldn’t be anymore happier with this place. From getting email pics about the dogs to getting report cards they are a top notch business, so if you are looking for a daycare I recommend you give this place a try.

Sterling K9 Retreat is awesome and our family can't recommend them enough. They're kind, professional and great with the dogs. They have great communication about upcoming daycare events and they send you an insightful report card after each stay.

Sterling is amazing! When I first got my puppy, I knew that I wanted to take him to doggie daycare a couple of times per week even though I work from home because I wanted him to be able to socialize with other dogs and get some exercise outside of my apartment. I did some research and Sterling seemed like the perfect place. They have absolutely lived up to and surpassed all of my expectations; Jae and Reilly and all of the staff are lovely people who clearly deeply care about the dogs. I feel very comfortable leaving my baby with them and trust them to keep him safe and happy. Finn absolutely adores them and loves to go play with his daycare friends!

We just started taking our pup here, and it’s been wonderful so far. The staff is very friendly and very clearly loved dogs. They have tons of fun activities planned for the dogs and provide daily updates with video. We’re really happy with Sterling K9 Retreat and would definitely recommend.

Sterling K9 was hands down the best groomers I have been to in awhile! I have two standard poodles and they came home looking so good and actually how I wanted their cut to be. He text me all day keeping me updated on my fur babies and it meant so much to me!

Jae and Reilly and all the staff at Sterling are absolutely amazing. They make you and your fur baby feel like family. The enrichment daycare is by soooo many steps above the rest. I have had my Lucy to other daycares and nothing compares to Sterling. They really are the new standard. There is story time, agility, puzzles, play time and human time!
Lucy gets so excited when I tell her she is going to play with the doggies and she is so happy when I pick her up, she smiles the whole way home. She is tired from the fun and interaction with other doggies and the humans, but not the exhaustion that I have seen from her at other daycares. They treat her like she is their own and I can tell that she loves all of them. I can’t say enough good things about this group! If you are not taking your pup here you both are missing out. Lucy and I are so glad to be part of their family and you should too! ️

Talk about an amazing place. Small group play, membership pup update, and curb side pick up. Franklin (puppy) and I feel like we are at a 5 “paw” resort!

Called and booked my dog to play he was so excited got there and they said sorry we are full. So poorly ran. There was a reason I called first before I drove 20 mins with my pup. I wouldn’t trust them anymore

The staff at Sterling are simply the best. They show me everyday that they really care about Clover. The enrichment programs keep her beagle brain busy and that means a calmer beagle at home! Also, love getting a daily report card and cute Clover photo!

We have used Sterling K9 Retreat for 2 weeks for daycare for our dog. They are so friendly and helpful. They were so kind and encouraging to help our timid dog feel comfortable. The enrichment activities have already improved his confidence! I love the daily "report cards" with photos and sometimes videos. It makes my day at work go a little better knowing he is well cared for, active, and happy. We are thankful for this place and their passion for the dogs in their care!

Sterling K9 Retreat is amazing! My wife and I have been taking our puppy here for about 2 months now. We really liked their idea of enrichment daycare rather than some other places play all day options. The staff have all been welcoming and professional and we have been very happy with the service. The daily report cards that they send out letting us know how our puppy is doing are awesome and great to look forward to. Our puppy has also been groomed here twice and has come back looking dapper each time. It is really nice to be able to schedule him for daycare and grooming at the same time and know that he is taken care of while we are at work. Jae & Reilly have done a great job making Sterling a fun safe place for our dogs to enjoy themselves and it means a lot to see how excited our puppy gets when we arrive. Thanks Sterling!

Words cannot express how thoughtful Jae, Rilley, and Kimberly are! They understand dogs and help them thrive in a safe and positive environment. I’ve taken my Springer to other daycares around Columbus and she comes back with bad behaviors and acts out because she’s overtired. At Sterling, the team knows my pup and challenges her with new enrichments each visit. We are very particular about our dog and what we would recommend, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sterling to anyone looking for a kind, structured environment.

The staff at Sterling adore my Winston almost as much as I do. They call when / if they notice any deviation In His health. Always are working with him to develop better manners and are working with me to work with a trainer. When he stinks, or needs a pedicure we can have it done while he is in daycare. Taking Winston to daycare at Sterling was one of the best decisions I’ve made!

They have the most amazing groomers. Their team is focused on the relationship first before the cut! They even walk and made sure my pup used the restroom before the groom. I admit how picky I am, but my baby’s well-being comes first. After the relationship, I love how I was able to put as many notes as I wished until we got to perfection in my eyes. Sterling K-9 has been the first doggy daycare that I have ever used. I recently rescued a wonderful dog named Hershey. Hershey suffers from separation anxiety, so I decided it would be a good idea to place him in a Doggy Daycare once a week to help with his anxiety. Every person at Sterling has been amazing in the way they treat and care for Hershey. Hershey is not just a dog to this group of caregivers; they genuinely care about him and his wellbeing. They welcome him each morning with cheerful, smiling faces and he is always happy to be there. He never whines or cries after me, he is happy to stay. When we pull into the parking lot, he gets extremely excited, and he knows exactly where we are. They also put my mind at ease during the day, as I can always expect a “report card” and a photo or two of him with his furry friends. I also love that they offer grooming and bathing services while he is at doggy daycare. This is very convenient, and they do a fabulous job. If you live or work in Westerville, I highly recommend you give Sterling K-9 a try.

My dog Bitty just had her first day of daycare here. She had a blast! The staff are so friendly and really know what they’re doing. I can tell that they truly do their research to make sure that each dog is cared for mentally and physically. I have a very happy and tired dog.

They have the most loving and thoughtful staff! Around the clock thinking about all the little things that make such a big different! This place is my number one because they are always paying attention to the needs of all the pups! Never seen doggies so happy! Truly a 5 star in every way!
