Sterling's Amish Deli reviews
14Food was fine, but nothing to brag about. My Sprite tasted very watered down though. Staff was friendly and service was good. I think using the term “Amish Deli” is a bit disingenuous as it seemed like any other sandwich shop, but with pre made items for sale from Holmes County. The whole place looked like it could use a good cleaning, and we had to keep swatting flies away from us as we ate. Overall, we weren’t displeased, but I wouldn’t return. Not sure why this place was rated so highly.
Cute little one room Deli located in downtown Bowling Green Ohio. Friendly sales associates and manager. The Ruben is amazing.
We hit Sterlings with a 30 person delivery order, on a Saturday night, during a busy weekend & they still knocked it out of the park. Communication from the owner was on point. I highly recommend ordering the Reuben & the cheese curds!
Small quaint place. Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff is always welcoming. They have Goods available to purchase. Great place!
Service and food was great. They don't have a public restroom though. And not being from this direct area and getting ready to drive 30 mins home we had to find a restroom. I had children with me so didn't want to take them into a bar. The gas station looked like it was closed, and thankfully it was not since it was really cold out. Even though the gas station wasn't far it just really sucked looking for the bathroom in the cold.
I had the beef & noodles special. It came with noodles, mashed potato, a slice of bread, beef, & gravy. It was really good. Next time I think I'll try the "Notorious BLT".
Friendly and helpful staff. Ordered the Reuben and a side of potato salad. Tasty sandwich. Everything one would expect from an Amish deli.
Good food and good service. Really nice staff! Our first time here and will definitely be back.
Great fresh food! The salads are huge and the fries are the best I’ve ever had. The kids meal has plenty of food. Great service with great people!
Always a great time. Food is delicious, generous portions, lots of little treats for later if you want. Great place
Will be coming back soon for the blt! They use good bacon and it's huge! It's worth checking out if you need quality deli meats and cheese also. The workers were very kind and attentive also
Don't order more than 3 drinks on a carry out, apparently they don't factor in drink carriers in their budget. You could say it's a silly thing to be hung up on until the wind-chill is -7 and your balancing 4 drinks back to your car only to eventually spill two while trying to open the door.
Small shop that has great food. The staff was friendly and the food was fairly priced. I would highly recommend eating here. Need to support local shops over the mega shops that overprice everything.
Excellent food, service with a smile. Huge portions. Pies are the best I have ever had. Cheese curds and onion rings are spot on delicious.
