Brought my 2003 Honda Odyssey to Steve's Auto Service unscheduled while vacationing from out of state. The catallactic convertor had been cut out/stolen the night before. Steve came up with an option that got us back on the road and we continued our vacation. Thank you Steve and staff for putting us to the front of the line and doing a quality job. I felt confident driving off the parking lot. Thank you for the A1 Customer service! It meant a lot to our family. Ron

Came in a few times and won't be back.
Brought my car in, they called back with a diagnosis of a valve cover gasket leak and gapped sparkplugs. I declined their service due to price and paid $60 for the diagnostic. I fixed the car myself for $47 (all 4 sparkplugs and the gasket). When I did it, the first and second sparkplugs were torqued like hell, I'm surprised I didn't need to do a heeli coil to re-thread. The third sparkplug was SO loose that I barely had to twist it out, you'd touch it and it'd wiggle. Plugs were gapped by. 005". My air intake hose wasn't even ATTACHED, so outside air and debri could've entered my engine, ruining the engine. Seems to me they got pissed I didn't have them do the service and tried to screw me over. My car shouldn't start stalling after a diagnostic. I'll do $50 and 1 hour of work over $400 any day. Check out G & R, they quoted me $200 before I decided to do it myself. Very friendly guys over there.

Best mechanic in town. Fair pricing, and they get the work done fast. Sometimes I break my car just to go back

I have been using Steve’s for a long time. I recently paid over $1000 to get my brakes and rotors fixed. Then when I went to go pick up the car, the window was no longer able to roll up and down. They refused to claim any responsibility. This was working just fine when I brought my car in and it didn’t happen until it was in their care. Now the only way I can get it fixed is if I pay for another appointment. Don’t take your car here unless you want something else to break and pay for it.

The Steve's job was great and prices are reasonable. Yesterday I showed them my Altima 2014 car because of the knocking sound from the rear of car. They replaced the brake calipers but I noticed that the problem doesn't solved, I showed them the car again and they found out that problem was because of the shock absorber bumper. They fix it and they didn't charge me again.

I came in with a bit of an odd request, but they installed everything nicely and did it for a reasonable price.

I was interested in a used car nearby and wanted to get it checked out by an independent mechanic. I didn't know anyone in Cuyahoga Falls so I did some searching. Found Steve's via great reviews on multiple websites and was able to get the car in and have them check it out. Steve's told me some interesting details about the car that gave me pause and required further conversations with the seller. As a result, I now also have a less than positive opinion about that particular seller.
The moral of this story is that Steve's Auto Service didn't know me when I walked in the door but they provided me with great, honest service that potentially saved me a bunch of money. So now, if anyone asked me for a suggestion for a good mechanic in the Cuyahoga Falls area, you can believe I would say Steve's.
