The doulas were so helpful! They advocated for our wishes to the medical team and supported me through a difficult postpartum. The doula also gave my husband the guidance he needed to be a great labor partner.

I had such an incredibly positive experience with Stork Helpers. Tamera was so helpful from first trimester until postpartum. The moment she showed up for my birth, I felt immediately at ease (as much as you can while in labor!). I highly, highly recommend!

Stork Helpers is a phenomenal service provided by phenomenal people! They are very resourceful, responsive, and reliable. Great communication is needed in this relationship and they make sure that they listen and that you are heard. If/when we have another child, this will be the first call that I make.

I can't imagine having anyone else help me through pregnancy and motherhood for the first time. Skylar is amazing and made the entire process much smoother and reassured me every step of the way through thick and thin. My birth was not what I planned but was still the smoothest it could've been thanks to her. Highly recommend, and will definitely use again in the future.

I decided I needed a doula after finding Tamara and reading reviews. I am so grateful to have had her support during my pregnancy and postpartum and it really made such a difference for me. Her services are worth every penny and more! Unfortunately she was unable to attend my delivery because of another birth and labor going much faster than expected (Skylar was able to step in and just as amazing), but I would hire her again the second I found out I was pregnant. She is a wealthy of knowledge and I really loved my pre birth pain management private lesson. Overall, highly recommend.

After years of struggling with infertility and miscarriages, my husband and I recently had our miracle baby! Once we confirmed a strong heart beat early on in the first trimester, we reached out to Tamara and Skylar for a Skype chat to learn more about their services. We felt at ease immediately and knew we had found the right place to help us with much needed support. Tamara was who we worked with primarily, but Skylar was quick to step in when needed if Tamara wasn't available. We can't recommend Stork Helpers enough. It was the perfect compliment to round out our pregnancy and birth experience. Because of an underlying health condition, I had to follow the more traditional medical route with our checkups and labor. Having Tamara's support throughout my pregnancy proved to be much needed and empowered us during this experience. We're lucky to have Stork Helpers in the Cincinnati and Dayton area!

Tamara was amazing at keeping in contact throughout my pregnancy and for a lot of my post partum journey. She had suggestions for every symptom I was feeling/going through, and if she did not have the answers, she would make sure she found them for you!

Worth every penny and more! Skylar gave my partner and I such peace of mind. The amount of support, encouragement, care and love they put in for this work is beyond obvious. I couldn’t imagine our pregnancy/labor without her! If we decide to have another, I plan to reach out as soon as we find out. If you’re unsure, go for it! Can you ever really have too much support during this life pivoting time? ! Especially from amazing people, who are in this field out of passion. 100% recommend!

I highly recommend hiring Tamara and Skylar to be part of your birth team! They were a crucial part in helping me achieve my goals during the birth of my son. They are so personable, kind, and open minded. They have great, research-based techniques they used in the delivery room that eased the nerves of both my husband and I. We did not have them for our first birth experience and if I could rewind time I would definitely make sure they were there! They advocate for their clients, make the mother feel heard in all situations, and they even got some really sweet pictures that I will forever cherish. Tamara was our doula for our planned homebirth. She came to our home to do a childbirth education class with our family and was really helpful answering our questions. She texted me frequently throughout my pregnancy and was a huge support answering questions and helping my pregnancy be more comfortable. During the birth, I started having back labor. Tamara knew different positions to help things continue while supporting me. I truly believe my 7 hour labor would have been much longer without her expertise. I felt very supported by Tamara throughout my pregnancy and during the birth. She helped my husband support me without being overbearing towards him. She communicated well with my Midwife and other birth attendents. I would definitely hire her again. She has a lot of knowledge and a kind, compassionate, and relaxed demeanor which is what our family needed. Thank you Tamara!

Had my baby a year ago and Tamara was a great help! She was there to answer my questions anytime via text and replied quickly. Was a good source of calm for me at the hospital knowing I had someone who was knowledgeable in the things that I wanted during my labor. Recommend!

Tamara was a great person to have along side me while I labored with my first child. She helped me prepare before labor and checked in once we were home. She's extremely reasonably priced for the work she does - it isn't about money, she truly cares about helping women and families. I actually paid her twice! Told her if she wouldn't accept it for herself then to pay it forward to another mom. She was with us in person in the height of COVID, not virtually like all the other doula groups I looked at. She's pragmatic and yet she was a gentle presence. If you're thinking of hiring a doula - do it and hire Tamara.

My husband was skeptical of having a doula, he didn't know what it was really - he always said "like snake oil lady? "
But he was blown away and he now recommends everyone use a doula, and gives out Tamara's contact! We loved having an advocate for us, and someone to always ask questions! My birth didn't go as planned, and having her by our side reassuring and reminding us of what we wanted was a huge help! You often feel very alone in hospitals, like no one is truly there for you - but Tamara was! She was so down to earth, easy to talk to, and comfortable - well to birth in front of! So if you are skeptical don't think "snake oil" think birth coach!
She was so caring too and would text me every single week checking in, asking how I was, and giving me some weekly tips/advice! Will absolutely use her again, great experience! Not to mention a fraction of what other doulas cost, and provided way more care including a 4 hour birth class in our own home - which by the way had Tamara and I rolling on the floor laughing when she made my husband squeeze a ping pong ball out of a balloon! Cannot recommend her enough!

They helped me and my husband understand all of our options for us to make the best birth plan for our family. Pre and postnatal care and education was amazing. They truly care about you and are so experienced and knowledgeable!
