They are so kind and compassionate. If you have to experience your worst day, these are the people you have in your corner.

Staff is rude to customers. Very difficult to work with if your animal has a long term illness. Don’t recommend this clinic to animal lovers because they provide very little empathy or understanding.

Hands down the most compassionate veterinarians and staff. The love they have for animals and their human parents is unmatched.

I absolutely love this place. They saved my dog's life after he suffered a massive trauma having been mangled by another dog. They were honest about the fact that they weren't sure he could be saved, but they pulled it off. It took multiple surgeries and weekly visits over the course of two months. And on top of it all, the cost was incredibly reasonable. They even did an amazing job of minimizing the scarring, as the original wound was three times the size the scars would lead you to believe. Axe and his family will be forever grateful.

Everyone is so polite and friendly. My dog is dog aggressive (rescued bait dog for dog fighting) and they are always so accommodating to bring her in the back door and make sure no other dogs are around. Dr Carlson is literally an angel and treats my dog with so much affection and love. She LOVES coming to the vet because of him and the wonderful staff.

Super friendly staff. You can see that they all love animals and take amazing care of them.

Such compassion. Reasonable prices. Thorough knowledge of pets. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

These people really care about animals, and about owners! My housemate and I owned a little mouse, Jonathan, for a year and a half. Well, as these things happen, he had a stroke which left him with paralysis, spasms, and a tendency to fall over. It was time to help him pass away, and these vets not only talked through the euthanasia process, but broke policy and let us stay in the room with him while he passed away. This meant a lot to my roomie, who was terrified she was "murdering" her little friend. Stow Kent Animal Hospital truly sees all animals as worthy of compassion, and this has made all of the difference for us.

Wonderful experience with Doctor Bilger. We visited for an appointment with my snake, Orpheus. He gave a very thorough exam, and was kind enough to provide a free ultrasound due to the fact that he was teaching I believe an intern on how to do it on snakes. I would highly recommend Dr. Bilger for all of your exotics vet visits.

Impressed is an understatement! The staff was so kind and knowledgeable. Their interest and passion for animals is evident. Stow Kent is, hands down, the best vet I have ever visited. I feel safe with my senior dog's care in their hands. Came back to this review three months later to add more feedback - Leona was so, so kind and helpful in helping me schedule an appointment for my girl! After visiting another area vet for years (and not having a great experience), I cannot tell you what of a breath of fresh air it is to work with such sweet, knowledgeable professionals. I’d give them a five except they were bust and we waited 45 minutes with puppies. The staff was very friendly and professional and the facilities were clean and smelled good.

Beware! After years of being a loyal customer the Pandemic hit and we did not take our pets in for a few years. Well, we needed them and they wrote us off, basically said since we did not go in on a regular basis they would not honor us as long time customers but would reset our account and relationship to new customer status and were not taking any new customers, they also treated my wife like she was never there before.
These people are ONLY about money and not about you, your family or pets. I am writing this to warn you so you will not have to go through that humiliation we went through.

I wish I could give ZERO STARS! I'm a 47 year old and my parents took all of our pets here growing up, I also took all of mine here all of these years. After 14 years my Jack Russell and best friend Patches was in very bad shape and was time after talking myself into it for a month to put her out of her misery. I called them and they told me I haven't been there in awhile and they can't help me! I called Primary Pet Care and they felt very bad for me, got me right in and was amazing! They helped me so much in a VERY hard time for me when Stow Kent (The place I went my whole life) told me THEY COULDN'T HELP ME! DON'T GO HERE! You are just a number that they don't truly care about!

My doctor this past Friday sat on the floor and played with my puppy. He was so good with her and very thorough as well. I felt at ease and treated so kindly by the staff. Glad I chose this clinic for my sweet Daisy! (blind in left eye)

A year ago I left a 5 star review about a year ago, now it's definitely changed. They want you to wear a mask inside, but do not provide masks. They'll make no effort to get you in ASAP, even if it's a emergency. Younger technicians are friendly as can be, some of the older staff are very snark and rude. Pricey compared to alot of other vets. Definitely gonna change vets because of the bad experiences I've had with them recently.
