This place is a beautiful Salon with professional beautician and barbers. The prices are affordable.

Doug did my color and I absolutely love it! I sent him a picture of the color, he consulted with me once I arrived, and added his twist to it. He was so patient because at first run, the dark roots bled unto the lighter teal. He made sure when I left that I was happy. He's now my personal hair stylist. I have yet to show my color because I have a photo shoot where I'll reveal. In a nutshell, Doug is professional, knowledgeable, and a color expert! He even makes a color boost shampoo for his clients! This is the place and the person to go to for your hair care needs. Not to mention there's a boutique in front of the salon with some clothing to die for. This is my first time there, but definitely not the last!

OMG, I am so happy I found out about Doug, which is the owner. Doug contacted me immediately and gave me the link to set for an appointment, which again, was immediate. As I arrived, Doug asked what I wanted to do, as I show him a picture, he insured me, no problem and also gave me some great suggestions and I told him to go for it, to do what he thinks was best, my goodness, he put alot of thought and care as he did his magic. When he was done, I was so pleased and loving my hairstyle. Doug is now to be my stylist from here on, i strongly recommend him.

All the staff were awesome. The stylist took care of my hair and offered me tips. I also bought an outfit and the seller made sure I loved everything and was taken care of.

I was feeling a little uneasy about going back to a Salon after this Covid issue, but I was greeted at the door by a really pleasant sweet lady, given a mask because I forgot mine, seated and only waited about 5-10 minutes for the hairdresser to finish his last head and clean and sanitize the styling area. Temp was taken hands were sanitized, and a few questions were asked. Everyone was nice and happy, that's enough for me. I even brought some of the items and novelties from their attached boutique. Great experience I will be calling for another appointment, because my hair turned out nice as well.

Studio 32NiNE is a beautiful shop and is always clean, the people that work there are so kind and sweet. Always speak to everyone who comes in. My stylist is Doug Keetion he has been doing my hair for many years and always does a beautiful job everytime.always make sure your right Thank you Doug for all that you do. I would like to shout out his lovely wife also Mrs.keetion she is the sweetest person you could ever meet.please shop with her she has a beautiful clothing shop also right in the salon. ETA: Please read below for my updated response to Doug Keetion. Initial review on 11/16/19: My experience with Doug was not pleasant. I am actually genuinely disappointed because I had really high hopes coming here based on his reviews. As a natural hair girl, it is really hard for me to find stylists that understand and are sensitive to my type 4c hair. On the website, it says he specializes in natural hair so I thought I was in good hands. However, I quickly learned that this was not the case at all and tbh, Doug lacked basic knowledge of how to manage natural hair. For example, he was using a paddle brush instead of wide tooth comb to brush my hair, not taking the time to finger detangle knots, he didn't bother to section my hair for the detangling process and he was brushing from my roots instead of ends to root (natural hair girls you know what I'm talking about). He also seemed to get agitated with the coarseness of my natural hair and claimed that it was unmanageable. When I tried to advise him, he got defensive and claimed I was micromanaging him. The thing is he may have 20+ years experience doing hair but I also have 20+ years experience doing MY hair so I know better than anyone how my hair should be handled. Overall, it was really a toxic environment and at one point he even told me to leave when he was midway through my blow dry. He is completely unprofessional and I cannot believe he has been in business for so long with that kind of attitude. I would advise any natural hair sister to run and not waste time coming here. I left on the verge of tears and really regretted coming here. I am new to Toledo so not well versed in natural hair salons around here. Next time, I will take more time to research places to go and make sure I also call each place to talk to the stylist.

I want to add that DESPITE how poorly I was treated by Doug, I still gave him a 15% tip because I wanted to show him that I can still be gracious even with his piss poor attitude. Doug also did end up apologizing to me for his behavior, which confirms that he knew exactly what he was doing and that he exhibited overall poor customer service etiquette. The only reason why I am giving this review 2 stars instead of 1 is because I did like the way my trim came out and there was a stylist in the shop (I cannot remember her name but she was doing locs on a customer) who stepped in to show Doug a better technique for brushing my hair so it wouldn’t be as painful. I really appreciated that. RESPONSE on 11/18/19:
I just double checked my email to see exactly what I scheduled and my email confirmation was for a “shampoo and style for natural hair 12 inches or longer”. Where in that did it say I want a silk press? You did not even give me a silk press. Also isn’t it expected that wen u go 2 to a salon to get a wash, the stylist also conditions ur hair? I did add to the notes section of my appointment details that I wanted two strand twists. I did not realize that you do not read your notes section. Why have that section for the customer to use, if you, the stylist do not intend on reading it? Makes no sense. Anyways, my issue had less to do with how much money I was going to spend, and more to do with your lack of knowledge of how to manage natural hair and your downright unprofessionalism. I got paired with you based on the fact that you are the natural hair person at your salon. So I was under the impression that you were COMFORTABLE working with natural hair (with your 20+ years experience and all). But you were not. Natural hair takes longer to detangle, everyone knows that. So asking me to pay more money for you to simply finger detangle out knots instead of trying to rip them out with a brush, seems a little absurd if you ask me. I was thankful that one of the other stylists stepped in to show you the CORRECT way to brush natural hair, and the correct tool to use (a wide tooth comb not a paddle brush). I would have gladly chose to continue with her if she was not already working on another customer’s hair and I did not have time constraints.
